“Helpful staff, very nice rooms for the price. Very attractive, upscale lobby with marble floors and cathedral ceilings. The bed was enormous and comfortable. The gym was surprisingly well equipped, with brand-new equipment. The pool area was clean and attractive, although the pool had the usual hotel problem of being over chlorinated. The bartenders were a little on the rude side, particularly during happy hour when they weren't not getting any tips. The food in the restaurant is overpriced, but the complimentary happy hour and continental breakfast are worth it. Will definitely be coming back.”

“The hotel was nice and clean. It is quite convenient to the airport and to highways up or down the coast. The staff was quite helpful.”

“The hotel was hard to find as the streets are not named in the airport area. We made several wrong turns. There was something about the feel of this hotel that was not as homey as most. I think it was the rundown and falling apart sofas all over the lobby areas and hotel rooms. The cushions were sagging in so deeply in the center of the couch you could not sit on them. They were like that all over the hotel. Very uncomfortable as there were 5 of us, 2 adults, and 3 kids, and we could not watch TV together without sitting on the floor. And you know hotel floors. Room was fairly clean but we did find some hairs wrapped up in our bath mat and our sheets were put on inside out which gave me the feeling that they were not changed. Staff was nice.”

“The hotel itself was very clean and the room was even better than expected. The in-room refrigerator and microwave came in handy for popcorn and cold drinks while we watched DVDs (my portable DVD player was compatible with their TVs - another nice perk). We were only there two nights - a women's weekend for outlet shopping and relaxing - but I would certainly recommend it for folks looking to visit Portland without spending an arm and a leg.”
