  • Amazing views.
  • Road side noise worth the view.

“My husband was attending a business conference and he has never been away from our family overnight. I was reluctant to go with my two boys ages 5 months and 25 months and my concerns were validated. The building is attractive but practically inaccessible by stroller. The pool was wonderfully heated but more than a brief period would be overwhelming. There is a beach across the street but again difficult by stroller. There are no parks, swings or entertainment for toddlers/children on the premise or immediate area unless nature provides it. The buffet breakfast was filling but lacking daily variety or cooked to order food. The dinning room was often closed due to setting up for conference meals/meetings yet the bar/pool patio offered an extremely limited menu with only toasted cheese for kids. There is a 5 dollar per person per night charge for house keeping only, waiters must still be tipped and they tell you if its included in the bill. The rooms and common areas were spotless and waiters were mostly attentive . The front desk seemed more than a little clueless and due to liability issues will not recommend or offer baby sitters. If you have 1 child over 4 or want romance room number 265 has a two bedroom suite with views of the river and the beach at the side windows and front windows offer pool/ocean from vistas to die for. The second bed room is tiny and close (i could hear my two year old snore) the traffic wasn't bad but was audible. ”
