“The hotel is good. But I would not think this is a 3 star in any way. I did not like the room we got. It was on th first floor next to the parking lot. I have had this happen twice but not 3 times. This hotel for some reason is a spot for cont. workers. Also the hotel let a trailer with a sleeping cab stay in the parking lot running all night.”

“We called ahead to request adjoining rooms, told we had them, checked in and told no adjoining rooms available. 5 small kids! This was a problem. Rooms smelled like cigarettes, noisy air conditioners. Maid left our pajamas on the floor, a cup on the floor and coffee drips on furniture.”

“Hotel facility was a very basic one star accommodation. Good if you are spending one night there. Would not recommend it for longer stays. The rooms are just not that nice.”

“After reading some poor reviews, I was relieved to find that the hotel and individual room were in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable and bed linens clean, attractive and looked new (although I brought my own pillow, I appreciated that the hotel provided extra pillows for each bed and in low, medium and high lofts). The pool area looked recently updated and the exercise room had new looking equipment. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast at the restaurant (which we had twice) was fairly standard fare, but tasty and affordable. I got the room for Mon-Fri worth the price. I would visit there again.”

“This is not a resort though it bills itself as one. It's essentially a Motel 6 with toiletries.”

“The hotel is centrally located for a great Cape Cod visit. The hotel was clean, the staff was attentive, and the pool was pleasant for the kids. Though our stay was still pleasant the smell of cigarettes was overwhelming in our hotel room and hallway.”

“I don't think this hotel should receive a 3-star rating. The staff was very helpful and kind to our needs. The hygiene and decor as well as design for convenience did not meet our expectations. Overall, our one year old had great time mastering her walking.”

“Overall we had a great time at this hotel. We visit Falmouth every summer and it was my first time in this hotel. The location is okay. Not in walking distance to anything, but close to everything. The staff was great, the room was clean, and the pool was great. What more do you need when traveling with kids. Onsite laundry was great as well.”

“The hotel staff was fairly unaccommodating to requests. The remote control in the room did not work, and they failed to deliver a new one, instead forcing us to go get one. The bathroom door did not close correctly and was difficult to open. The fire alarm went off and no explanation was given to us as to why or when we could return to the room, we instead had to find out on our own. The front desk staff was less then friendly and certainly not accommodating. The hallways smelt rancid. Randomly our room keys stopped working.”

“This hotel should never be rated what it was. It should not be offered as even a fairly decent hotel! The two nights that we stayed here were terrible, the worst I've experienced. The room smelled so bad, musty, smoky, bugs all over; absolutely gross! We are extremely disgusted with getting stuck with this hotel!”

“We are extremely upset with our vacation stay at the holiday Inn in Falmouth, definitely not a 3 star! The front desk employees were extremely rude. I said is our room ready please and they asked our name and looked it up. Then said not till check-in time while (not kidding) 3 other couples check-in and got their keys we had to wait right in front of us this was going on!”

“When they finally promised me a room they said it would be a 45 minute wait, but when I returned the room was a smoking and we were forced to my the long trek back to the desk after lugging our baggage to the basement and back up.”

“Toxic room. This was the worst hotel room I ever stayed in. It was in the basement. The fire exit was open on arrival. Hall ways full of excess cots and culture. No handicap access. Cigar smoke smell in room was so bad that I had to check out the next day or plan on being hospitalized.”

“The hotel is located in a pleasant surrounding - across the street from a pond, and in a fairly central location. However, you need a car to get around. It is a typical Holiday Inn, more like a 2 or 2.5 stars, definitely not 3.”
