“The hotel was very charming and Falmouth is just the cutest place. There was a nice breakfast buffet in a large open area with lots of windows. We did not use the indoor pool but it looked inviting. Our room was decorated warmly and had TV, microwave, and refrigerator. The welcome book said there would be a charge for the refrigerator which concerned us because we had not requested one and assumed it was standard in all the rooms. We did not have to pay extra. The space between the end of the beds and the bureaus was a little tight but not a problem. I would stay there again.”

“The Inn was nice and clean. The walls are thin and the floor above us squeaked badly. The cont. Breakfast was better than most other places.”

“This hotel is in the center of Falmouth in a really great location. The beds were more comfortable than any I have ever found at a hotel. They were even better than some five star hotels I have stayed in. The hotel was nice and quiet, the staff was nice and friendly, and the continental breakfast was good. One more thing - many of the hotels on the Cape are musty due to the constant ocean breezes. This one was not. It was clean, dry, and had no smell at all. A welcome change from other places I have stayed on the Cape!”

“A clean and personable lodging within walking distance of interesting little shops and restaurants. Definitely a touch of Cape Cod. Large bus tours that stay overnight, however, can bring in groups of young people that make for a noisy evening.”

“Proc: Location is great: 5-10 min walk to downtown Falmouth restaurants/shops. Close to beach and down the road from Vineyard parking lot. Beds were comfortable. Cons: (1) Bathroom was dirty. Floor tiles were cracked. (2) The bathtub is positioned hazardously - there is a small step right in front of the tub. You can easily trip over and slip into/out of the tub. (3) A small refrigerator was provided in the room. However, it did not work. (4) Fire alarm went off at 4 am. Guests waited around lobby area for about 30 minutes for the firemen to resolve the problem. No word of apology from the staff or any word to inform us as to what was going on.”

“All in all it was a well located restaurant in a scenic cape cod town. Clean and very comfortable beds and rooms. For off season it was a very good experience except for the fact that they do not have a full service restaurant which had "for lease" signs in the windows, that was kind of a turnoff. But in general it was ok.”

“The hotel was very short staffed while we were there. The maid service arrived at 6pm on day 2 of our trip. The front desk was not staffed the entire time we were there. The continental breakfast was almost empty all 3 days and no one was available to replenish or keep the area clean. The pool had no towels the majority of our stay and the pool area was rarely cleaned. It's a shame, because this hotel could be amazing with the right attention.”

“Great location, near restaurants and shops. Recently renovated furnishings in the room made up for dingy pool area and lack of full restaurant.”

“Very convenient to everything. Friendly, helpful people and really nicely re-done rooms. I sell furniture, and have a pretty high-end mattress; this was one of the best beds I ever slept on. Also having fridge/freezer and microwave with coffeemaker as standard would be ideal for vacationers. Very, very nice.”

“A charming, very nicely appointed hotel in a quaint Cape Cod village setting, a moderate walk or short drive from the Falmouth Beach. Luxurious linens, down comforters, upholstered accent chairs; microwave, mini-fridge with freezer, and coffeepot complete with StarBucks coffees in our room. Small indoor pool, continental breakfast (also featuring StarBucks), and an exceptionally pleasant staff. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the Shining Sea Bike/Walking path (just a short, 3-mile walk to Wood's Hole). Highly recommended.”
