• The jet tubs.
• The bed was hard.

“The one full day
I was there,
I didn't get any peace and quiet, which is why
I went to hull.
I used to live there when
I was a child, so
I know how quiet it is in late fall and winter. But they were doing fire alarm testing and didn't get any peace and quiet. It was disturbing.
I didn't really complain to them which
I should have. The place is usually great, but not for peace and quiet that day.
A little disappointed.”

• Otherwise the hotel was clean, neat and had a great location.
• They gave us an ionizer to correct the smoking smell in the room but this did not help.

“A well situated, clean and updated hotel except somehow our reserved non-smoking room was not available to us and we were placed in a smoking room. The hotel was full so there were no other options for us. This was disappointing and the room was really quite unbearable.”

• Excellent location, views, fireplace in room and.
• Hotel staff at the fitness center.

“Enjoyed the stay very much. Will be very likely to stay in this hotel again - staff was for the most part very friendly; only slight negative was the fitness center staff--somewhat short with me when I did not know the process to using the pass system (apparently a private center that shares services with hotel - who knew?).”

• Staff was very friendly and helpful, great restaurant and nice views.
• There's nothing I didn't like and it was a favorable visit.

“I've been going to this hotel for about 4 years. I've always had a good experience. Parking can be a problem on weekends or during events but the beach is directly across and usually you can find a space there. The hotel parking area is very very small. I would recommend this hotel.”

• Great beach location!
• Renovations show very poor quality workmanship.

“Great hotel with fantastic views. Unfortunately the quality of the new renovations is very poor quality. The hinge on our room door was loose and made door difficult to close. Finish trim work was misaligned and falling apart. New carpet in hall and room poorly installed. A little bit of quality control over whoever does the renovations work would make this a 4 star rating!”

• On the waterfront.
• Surrounding area run down, lacked things to do except beach, personal efficient but not friendly.

“Overall we had a good experience. The hotel was located on the waterfront and easy to find. The room and lobby were clean and well maintained. The restaurant was nice, reasonable and the food was very good and varied. The personnel although efficient were not very friendly. Aside from the waterfront, the area surrounding the hotel was on the run down side and lacking things to do within walking distance. We stayed overnight as a mini vacation to see a show at the South Shore Music Circus so the hotel met our needs. I would use them again.”

• It's on the beach, clean, large fitness center, spa, great location, easy to get to Boston.
• Restaurant was very expensive--but many other choices nearby.

• It was across the street from the beach and we could walk without worrying about our car.
• There was no one there to help us with our bags because it was a weekday.

“It was clean, staff was nice and brought us extra towels, the breakfast buffet was delicious, we were right across from the beach, and we could walk to some eating establishments. We enjoyed ourselves very much.”

• General stay, close to the beach and the gym.
• We were supposed to have a complimentary breakfast and it was not the case.

• The view was spectacular.
• The breakfast buffet at the adjoining hotel cost $9 a person and was no better than your standard free hotel continental buffet.

• The fast, effective response of the staff to minor room problems.
• The attitude of wait staff in the restaurant could have been more pleasant.

“The overall stay was well above average. The room was more than adequate - extremely clean and well maintained. The response of staff to a minor problem with the air conditioner was to immediately replace it with a new one! The attitude of lobby personnel and maid service was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right on the beach with easy access to Boston by ferry and Cape Cod by car. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a less expensive alternative to Boston hotels or to anyone wanting both a beach and sight seeing vacation.”

• Staff friendliness.
• Room smelled like smoke.

“The hotel is at a beautiful location in Hull- across the street from the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. On the downside, the room smelled strongly of smoke. The breakfast buffet was fair. The dinner was better.”

• Very quaint property. Loved the in room fireplace.
• Asked for a wine glass to take to my room and was given a plastic cup.

• Convenient, great location, beautiful room, and great amenities.
• Balcony door didn't lock. I didn't realize this until night so I didn't have time to report it. Im sure staff would have secured it if notified.

“I had an excellent stay at this hotel and I have recommended it to everyone whether you are with your family or loved one. Great amenities, indoor pool, complimentary breakfast, restaurant, and great location. Beach is right outside your door; games, playground, shops, and food are within walking distance. I had a great time and will definitely stay here again.”

• Dirty, lipstick/make-up marks on pillow. Hair and dirty footprints in bath-tub.

“The hotel staff was loud and short answered. The room was not clean, as mentioned in question 14.The clicker did not work on the television. The best part was the location to the beach. If this hotel was not on the beach I would not stay there, and I will not stay there again.”
