  • Convenience.
  • I thought the front desk should have been on the first level, not up an escalator.

“Excellent experience. Hope to stay there again!”

  • The location to the waterfront was great.

“Great location. Our room was very comfortable and we could see the Aquarium and Marina right out our window. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The hotel is really beautiful and the staff always helpful and friendly.”

  • Location, cleanliness, and friendly employees.
  • Very bad service in cocktail lounge, food not good, and it took 20 minutes to get a sandwich and banna split only 1 scoop of ice cream for 9 dollars.

“Great location. Walking distance to quincy market and aquarium. Rooms were neat and clean.”

  • Concierge gave us wrong info about pool hours.

“Great location, and a friendly staff.”

  • The view, location, decor, and overall ambiance were outstanding.
  • Nothing.

“The location is on the water, near the great "T" transportation, Harbor Tours, Trolley Tours, great restaurant all within walking distance. The room was absolutely gorgeous! It was truly one of the nicest hotels I've ever visited, and I have been around the world in all kinds of accommodations.”

  • The location. It was across from Faniuel Hall, and near the North end.
  • The carpet in my room was slightly stained.

“Comfortable beds, good location for sight seeing, and quiet.”

  • Beautiful water view from the deck, easy walk to everything downtown Boston has to offer.
  • Nowhere to park except expensive garages or valet.

“Clean, modern hotel with good amenities. Located right next to the aquarium and several excellent restaurants, like Sel de la Terre. An easy walk to downtown Boston, the Freedom Trail, or delectable North End Italian restaurants.”

  • Easy walking distance to Boston's North End and Quincy market and shopping district.

“Would definitely stay again, excellent service and friendly people.”

  • Right next to the T station.
  • Lobby architecture was a bit funky.

“Overall, the Marriott Long Wharf is a wonderful place to stay. It is next door to the Aquarium, and a T station is right outside the front door. There is plenty of parking in the public garage one block away, if the valet-only hotel parking is out of your price range.”

  • Good location.

“My room had a tiny window that faced an interior atrium to the hotel, not an exterior wall. That was ridiculous!”

  • Very nice, recenlty remodeled and ideal location to Quincy Market.
  • The T stop in front of the hotel is Blue Line requiring transfers to most anywhere other than the airport.

“The Marriott Long Wharf is a wonderful upscale Boston hotel, directly across the street from Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall. It is also a short 2-3 blocks from Boston's Italian North End neighborhood. Almost all of the major Boston attractions are located within walking distance. If you purchase a 1-day T pass for $9 or a 7-day pass for $15 per person, you can go everywhere in Boston and Cambridge. The hotel itself has a nautical theme and is configured on the outside and inside like a luxury cruise liner. The view from the restaurant looking out on Boston Harbor is like the view off the stern of the ship. It's a perfect hotel for tourists as well as business visitors.”

  • Great atmosphere and location on the Boston waterfront. Close to Fanueil Hall, Goverment Center and the North End.
  • The high price of parking your car at the hotel or surrounding areas.

“We arrived early, check in is not until 4PM but they were able to accommodate us for a 2:30 check-in. We were given a nice room on the 5th floor overlooking the Boston Harbor, beautiful view! The room was clean and had many amenities. The staff was very efficient. The Marriott Long Wharf is very close to Faneuil Hall, the North End and Government Center, which made walking around easy. The only negative was the $42.00 to park overnight at the hotel and the prices at other garages were about the same.”

  • Great location and view from hotel room.
  • Hotel room was a little far away from elevator.

“This hotel is just steps from Quincy Market and the North End. Rooms are very nice with a great view of the harbor. Stay at this hotel if you want to be close to all the activities that Boston has to offer.”

  • Subway station right outside the door!
  • Few indoor eating choices.

“This was a comfortable, well appointed room in a fantastic location, next to a T stop and walking distance from Faneuil Hall and the North End. Very convenient, easy to get to airport, too.”

“What a great place to stay - close to everything, fantastic fitness center, friendly staff - top of the line.”

  • Beautiful water view.
  • Very noisy outside and inside room. Something in the room kept bumping every 10 min at night. Maid vacuumed at 9 am outside my room.

“It is oddly set up. On the view side, you get the view and the street noise as well.”

  • Awesome location, nice view, well appointed room and friendly staff.
  • Room was extremely noisy as it had thin pass-through doors to neighboring rooms.

“The hotel was excellent in all respects except for one, noise levels. As each room has very thin pass-through doors between them, every conversation, laugh, etc., can be heard through them. As such, someone returning to their room at 3:00 am can easily wake up their neighbors. It's actually a shame as, besides that, we were very impressed by the hotel. It was in a great location, has nice views, and has nicely appointed rooms. If they can solve the noise issues, it would be perfect.”
