• Exorbitant valet parking fees.

“The property is in a very good location. The staff were friendly and cooperative. Sound insulation from hallway noises left something to be desired. Very expensive room service and valet parking fees.”

• Beautiful rooms, very clean and excellent service.
• Parking expense! $40.00 for overnight and gratuity.

“The service was excellent. Good size rooms and offered many services. We loved the location. Very safe area with great shopping!”

• The location was outstanding because it was near my office.
• The gym was very small and very warm.

“The staff were helpful and courteous. The rooms were on the small side, but well-maintained, and comfortable. If you do business in Europe, you won't mind the size at all. The gym has nice equipment, but it's small and very warm.”

• Beside the fact that it was beautiful and most importantly - clean, I also liked the location.
• I did not like that I had to pay for parking.

• I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were very cordial.
• The price of their food for room service and the water pressure for a shower.

“I thought the staff were extremely helpful and polite. The bar located downstairs was a very casual and relaxing atmosphere. The room was spacious enough for two and the bottled water they give you came in handy the next morning!! Very nice stay!”

• The rooms were extremely clean with very comfortable beds and down comforters. Nice big size bathroom with all the amenities.
• The rooms are very small and the could not adjust the heat (too hot).

“I would highly recommend this hotel. Rooms were very nice and clean. One of the best locations in the city to be able to walk everywhere. Convenient to subway if you did want to venture more out as well. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff as well. Would definitely stay here again.”

• Very sharp lobby and an easy walk to Quincy Market.
• Not enough storage only three small drawers in the mini-bar TV cabinet plenty of room for a dresser.

“The Hilton was a nice and clean hotel. We especially liked the short walk to Quincy Market. The only thing that stood out as bad was that there wasn't enough room in the dresser. But overall we really liked the hotel and would recommend it.”

• Huge rooms, reasonable valet parking rates.
• Nothing to note.

“Great hotel. At first, my room was next to the elevator, which was very noisy. At my request, they promptly moved me to a quieter room. Valet parking is only $15 per night very reasonable compared to other Downtown hotels in other cities. Rooms are huge compared to most, and well appointed clean too. Location is very close to wharf and Faneuil Hall also close to a few metro stations. I'd stay here again.”

• Check-in took a bit long.

“Hotel was in a great location within walking distance to several local attractions. Room was nicely appointed and staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the concierge staff and valets.”

• Friendly staff and nice scale, could walk to a lot of interesting things.
• Not to close to Subway station. The bath had no towel bars or grab bars, also a magnifying mirror would be nice.

“We found some renovations in progress both outside and inside. The completed renovations were very nice without being too over the top. We liked the breakfast buffet and the bar. All the staff were friendly and on top of things. We hope to go back!”

• It was warm and comfortable.
• They didnt have a cheese plate on the late night menu but they said they did.

“It was luxurious, modern, and clean and close to everywhere we needed to be that night.”

• Pretty centrally located.
• Only free internet access was in the lobby or library.

“Generally and overall quite nice for a "surprise" hotel. You never know what you're going to get! Not a perfect location but fairly central to Downtown, Washington street, freedom trail and North End, but far from Newbury St., Charles St., etc.”

• The parking was very expensive. Hotel only had valet.

• No parking garage.

• Good location. Right price. Staff upgraded us to larger room.
• Bath products and room TV not 4-star.

“Overall good experience for the money. Good location in Financial District. Clean. Room upgraded to larger king room. This isn't a 4-star luxury hotel but clean, reliable and good place to stay if your top priority is location and price.”

• The room was large and impeccably clean.
• They would not work with me on extending my stay at a reasonable cost.

“This is an excellent hotel. There is hot cider in the lobby at night and the coffee pots in the room are excellent for making your own in the morning. The in-room movies were great. The bathrooms had plenty of counter space, in contrast with another hotel I stayed in nearby. An excellent choice.”
