• The hotel was in the best location, the staff was amazing, and the history was fascinating.
• It feels like a dressed up version of a Marriott.

“The hotel is right on the Freedom Trail, and close to the main Subway line, so it is very convenient to get to everything. The service was fabulous.”

• I really liked the location as my daughter attends Emerson College and it was easy access to the school.
• I really have nothing negative about my experience.

“It was nice, clean and the staff was friendly. They were accommodating if I looked like I was searching for something. It was close to many other areas of Boston, and also restaurants and a couple of Starbucks within a short walking distance.”

• Top rate bed and bedding.
• Cramped space.

“The hotel staff was helpful & pleasant. The room was luxurious with high quality bedding and toilet accessories. Centrally located in downtown Boston and on the Freedom Trail. The down side was the window had to be kept closed because of the ugly view, not a big deal. The major minus was the tiny room with huge furniture, and a small bathroom. To get past the TV to the other side of the bed you had to either climb onto the bed or skinny shimmy the narrow space. Also, the toilet was only a couple inches from the door so easily whacked. There was not an exhaust fan in the marble bathroom.”

• I can't think of one thing.

“I traveled with a group of 7 other gentlemen to attend a Red Sox game. The staff at the hotel was very helpful with directions for Fenway Park. The rooms were very comfortable & spotless. I would recommend this hotel to friends. Overall, a great experience!”

• Lobby, location and great breakfast team.
• Small room size.

“Friendly staff (except for one rude bar staff lady) but we were a bit disappointed that there was no restaurant for families open on Labor day. I did not want to take the kids to the bar so they had to have room service. Small rooms too, but well equipped. Ok, stayed in better but its hard to beat this location.”

“Although rooms on the small side, rooms were very well appointed for the leisure traveler an ideal location to public transportation, staff was very helpful, good value for the money.”

• Valet service was very poor, leaving the car in the middle of the street.

“Disappointment! The location was great. The bar was nice and the bellboy knowledgeable and pleasant. The room had not been fully cleaned when we checked in. Our wake up call never happened on two occasions. The valet service left our car in the middle of the street blocking traffic and causing a cop to start screaming at us when we walked outside with our luggage. This could be a great hotel but right now it isn't.”

• The location was wonderful! The staff was very friendly.
• Bathroom was too small. No room for our stuff. Bed was too high.

• Very kid friendly. Had welcome back pack with items for kids.
• No pool.

• Location is fantastic for walking around Boston.
• Tiny, tiny rooms. Difficult to move around the room.

“Good value for the price. Rooms were upscale in decoration and cleanliness, but were very small. We loved the location and walked easily to many tourist sights. We would go back for the price.”

• Great central location to historical sites and restaurants.
• Room was quite small.

“The hotel is in a great central location and therefore in a very busy noisy area (outside). The front desk staff and concierge were immensely informative and helpful. Free wireless internet in lobby was handy. The room was quite small with only enough room for one person to get by between the bed and the dresser that the TV is on. When showering, the water didn't drain unless you removed the drain attachment. Valet parking is pricey. Would definitely recommend the Omni Hotel to anyone.”

• Staff was outstanding and very accommodating.
• We had a suite but bed was only queen, very tight.

“The staff was excellent. We had a nice room reserved but weren't happy with it as our view was a brick wall, called down to the desk and they immediately accommodated us and upgraded us to a suite at no additional charge; all levels of staff were great”

• Close to Boston's public garden, walking distance to Subway stations.
• Did not meet my expectation of a 4-star hotel, rooms are too small.

“The rooms are pretty small and the bathrooms have no space. I had hard time placing my luggage on the floor. The quality is just ok. My room had no view. The only thing I liked about was its location. It's within walking distance to Subway stations. And at night, it was never too dark to walk, plenty of lighting outside.”
