• Location was good.
• Parking was too expensive, at $32 a night.

• It's close proximity to local attractions.

“ I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn on Beacon Hill. It's location was perfect, the staff was helpful, and the room was clean and very large for city hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming to Boston and staying here again. ”

• The staff was friendly.
• The room was musty smelling and the furniture is old and very beat up. Black crumb looking things in the bottom of the tub.

“While the staff was friendly and helpful, the facility itself is outdated. The furniture was all scratched up and the room was dingy. There was a substance that looked ugly all over the bottom of the bath tub. This hotel is in need of updating. I have not stayed in a Holiday Inn before and after this experience will not again!”

• The location was excellent!
• Some of the staff was kind of creepy, it was not very comfortable beds.

“I think I over paid for this hotel! Ive stayed at much nicer hotels for all lot less! the rooms where not very big either.”

• Newly renovated... room was nice for star and price.
• Parking would have been expensive and difficult.. just parked on street.

“Good location for historic sites, most within walking distance. Many restaurants in area better than the hotel's. Unless price negotiated with third party, cost too much for what is available at hotel.”

• Rude people.

“Awful customer service. 100% unwilling to help me in a very rough situation. The manager refused to even talk to me. Very unimpressed! Will not only not recommend but let people know to not stay here.”

• It was clean, updated, and the staff was friendly. Also, you could walk to everything!
• The bathroom in our room was small, and you have to pay $36 / day for parking!

“We had a king room on the 11th floor. They made me think the furnishings would be outdated, but we were pleasantly surprised. Granite & tile bathroom, comfortable bed, updated bedding, and an awesome view of the Prudential building & the Charles River. The only negative would be the small bathroom, 1 person barely fit. When closing the door it skims the toilet thats how cramped it was. Continental breakfast was also not included.”
