• Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great amenities, beautiful room

“Beautiful hotel with great service. Pet friendly, down to the dog treats waiting at the entrance. Free wine reception every evening is a great extra and it's served in the "living room" which is a lovely place to sit and meet people. The room was lovely and decorated beautifully. I also love that they are trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible, including a separate recycling garbage can in the room. I can't wait to go back.”

• Decor, cleanliness, staff.
• Location is not really walkable to major Boston attractions.

“The hotel was very nice and provided us with a relaxing stay while we were in town for a wedding. we had a rental car and were able to go around to see a lot of Boston attractions, but without a car, the location may be slightly inconvenient.”

• I loved this hotel - very different as far as decor, cocktail hour, great restaurant and staff.
• Fee for parking car.

“I truly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Marlowe. The Hotels professional staff, and unique decor and amenities were quite a treat.”

• Excellent pricing and staff was incredible.
• Pay for parking.

“This was a very swanky hotel, that is attached to a massive indoor shopping mall, with several restaurants. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! I have never stayed at a hotel where the staff has been so helpful, and the rooms are cleaned to excellence. The one drawback, is that guests must pay for non-valet parking at the hotel.”

• Great decor. Helpful staff. Great coffee and tea served in very hip lounge.

• Parking and front desk attendeants were great; room clean.
• Nothing.

“I have stayed in Boston many times. Never heard of this hotel. But, this turned out to be an awesome experience. Would do this again and enthusiastically recommend to anyone. Hotel staff great. Not into leopard or zebra/animal patterns, but room and bathroom were spotless, quite, and I got a good rest. Would stay again. Exceeded my expectations.”

• The decor.
• You could hear every little thing that happened in the hallway.

“Overall it was nice. Decorated well. Comfy bed and linens. My biggest complaint is that there is no sound proofing what-so-ever. So we could here kids running up and down the hallway, every time someone opened their door, a dog barking a dozen rooms away, it was ridiculous. And the room service is way over priced.”

• No drawer space so suitcases can be unpacked.

• I liked the Wi-Fi, ipod docking station, many electrical outlets and decor.
• No turn down service at night, no in-room check out.

• Had easy access to the shopping mall and restaurants next door.
• Parking arrangements were confusing.

“Beautifully appointed rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Would have preferred a room with a view as opposed to looking at the other walls of the hotel and its courtyard. Was nice and quiet. Very easy to walk next door to the Cheesecake Factory.”

• Easy access to most of what Boston has to offer.
• The bathroom.

“This was one very nice hotel and setting was very enjoyable. The staff was very helpful when I had questions regarding close amenities. The decor was very modern take on classical color tones, and also the bed nicely quipped. I had a small problem with my room service but was taken care of by the staff in a very quick and timely manner.

• Staff was universally friendly and helpful; free bicycles; clean throughout.
• Not right in the middle of the action.

“Nearly perfect. Front desk staff delightful. Lively decor in public areas and room. Happy hour in the living room every day 5-6 with free drinks! Great mixer and relaxing. Room super clean and quiet. Free bicycles for touring. Self parking convenient and reasonable with in/out privileges. Felt really comfortable there.”

• This was the most imaginatively and beautifully decorated hotel I have ever stayed in.
• There was nothing I disliked about this hotel.

“This hotel was the prettiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The square rooms, which could have been decorated generically, were boldly and beautifully decorated. There was a new large screen TV. The staff could not have been more helpful, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Boston or Cambridge.”

• Funky design, friendly staff, good location.
• Would have liked breakfast.

“This was a very nice hotel with funky furnishings- zebra design carpet etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a nice happy hour free glass of wine. It was an easy walk to the T stop to get into Boston and to Harvard. The hotel is attached to a mall, for easy access to shopping. I would recommend this hotel.”
