• Modern decor, newly renovated, good service, free wine tasting, great central location (bars restaurants sights public transport) walking distance.
• Room very small. Thermostat broken (room freezing), took maintenance a long time to respond.

“Great hotel, friendly staff. Modern
and newly renovated. Minibar hotel lounge with nice patio. Good scene at night w lots of beautiful people. Bouncer gave us a hard time at the door before he found out we were guests. Room small. Thermostat broken so 60 degrees in room. Took them a while to send maintenance person who gave me a little attitude but he fixed it with no problem. Very near Amtrak station (Back Bay) and T stop and tourmobile stops including Duck Tours.”

• Hotel staff, rooms, location.
• Expensive Parking

“Copley Square Hotel was comfortable and welcoming. A bit small, but nicely decorated rooms. Hotel staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Did not try either the restaurant (Xhale)or the bar (MiniBar), but both seemed to have good crowds each night. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed my stay.”

• Wine tasting.
• Very small room.

“While the location was perfect, the room itself was incredibly small, so small that another person couldn't fit. I kept stumbling over the desk chair as it was wedged in between the bed and the desk with no room in between. The lobby was small and filled up for the "wine down" which was actually quite nice.”

• Location.
• Being charged $25/daily for a rollaway cot and $40 for parking.

“Room was clean and very modern decor. The setup in bathroom was impractical, nowhere to hang a towel near sink or a place to conveniently put toothbrush or hair dryer while in use, uncomfortable. Room layout was also impractical such as TV location. View from window was the window of the room next door, so drapes had to be closed the entire time.”

• Perfect location, very friendly staff, decent fitness center.
• Parking is tricky so you must use the valet.

“Overall this hotel was very nice. The staff was excellent. Everyone from the valet guys, to the front desk staff, to the cleaning staff were overly nice and outgoing. The hotel is also in a perfect location in the middle of Boston. The only thing that was tricky was parking, but that can be expected in the middle of a major city. The valet staff did a nice job of getting us our car back and forth very quickly.”

• Friendly and helpful staff, modern yet historic landmark, small rooms but quaintly appointed, perfect location .
• Windows are not sound proof, shower water pressure was terrible.

“Great location, 10 minute walk to Hynes convention center, Copley Square Place is across the street, Shops at Prudential entrance down the street, after Shaw's supermarket (pick up snacks and bottled water there), wonderful staff, restaurant was fine, small boutique hotel, reminds me of Europe.”

• I loved the nightly wine reception, the free Krueg coffee and tea in the lobby.
• Rooms were a little small.

“The hotel was great. The location is terrific. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The wine reception nightly was very nice and festive. The free coffee and tea from the Krueg machine was great. The hotel has all the conveniences for a leisure or business traveler, location, restaurant and hip bar. It is also a great location for leisure travelers wanting to be near Fenway, the Boston Commons and Copley Square.”

“I stayed in this hotel two years ago and it was a dump, so I was a bit concerned. It turned out that after the remake of the hotel it's one of the nicer places I've stayed recently. Perfect location, large rooms, clean and luxurious.”

• Very friendly and helpful staff, gave us directions and made restaurant and shopping recommendations. Great decor and ambiance. Loved happy hour!
• There was a fan blowing directly on the desk chair which made it difficult to work. An engineer came to look at it, but the problem wasn't remedied.

“This hotel exceeded my expectations. I wasn't sure what it would be like, but it was clean, had excellent decor, and was comfortable. It was convenient for business travel and for my travel companion who primarily did site seeing and shopping. I used the nice fitness facility and the free wireless internet. I would definitely recommend it and recommend priceline.”

• Don't believe this is aimed towards families.

“Did not see any children or youth. As I was traveling with my teenage daughter, I called immediately and requested two double beds. There was no help for it.”

• The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The housekeeping dept. Did a good job but we have to ask to have the room cleaned because we had the do not disturb sign on in the morning?
