• Very quiet, staff stayed in the background but was helpful.
• Dining closed earlier than I was hoping for.

• I was unfamiliar with the Boston area, and this hotel was perfectly located to my destination.
• I was not very fond of my waitress when I dined for breakfast.

“I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone that is in the area for business. It was centrally located to the public transportation to could connect you to anywhere in the Boston Metro area. Though this would not my the idea spot for a romantic getaway because of the location in the downtown area of Somerville.”

• The upgrade was nice.
• my request for a king size bed was not available at time of check-in.

• Very clean, nice location, very secure.
• Limited pool hours.

“I stay in suites most of the time but the room size was more than roomy for a hotel room. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room (6 pillows and all) and the friendly staff. I also liked that they had security guards at night. I was very impressed with this Holiday Inn.”

• Lobby and amenities were lovely and convenient.
• Wish they had a free continental breakfast.

“This was conveniently located to the events we were in town for and a couple of blocks from a subway stop. The lobby, restaurant, pool areas, and the room were nice. I would have liked a continental breakfast and possibly some easy access restaurants right next door, but really we weren't far from anything. It was nicer than I expected.”

• Very nice inside. Large pool and jacuzzi.

“Very convenient location with a free shuttle to any Boston area attractions. Excellent service, I would stay there again. The children loved the pool and we loved the fact that children eat free.”

• Location location location. Next to trains, buses and TARGET!
• Could not open windows. Forced to live with a/c.

“Good quality. Great location next to transport to downtown Boston and all parts of Cambridge. Very helpful staff. Decent food for a Holiday Inn. Would definitively stay there again.”

• Good bargain
• Not a sexy location

“The trade off between cost and quality of room as well as good service with not a great location still made this hotel a winner. By car or taxi, it is fairly easy to get to and with the MTA not far. But it is not like walking out the door into Harvard Sq. I have stayed here twice and would do so again.”
