• The view from our room was great. Bath and shower was big enough for two people. king bed was comfortable too.
• It was a bit far from the Theater District.

• Great location.
• Unexpected parking fee.

“The room was clean and comfortable and the location was ideal - close to restaurants, shopping, and a bowling alley. However, we were charged $35 per day for parking at the hotel parking garage. We also had a problem with the phone in the room ringing repeatedly in the middle of the night.”

• Locale and staff.
• Balcony had no chairs.

“Great locale, clean, pleasant & knowledgeable staff. Very helpful with local info. Wouldn't bother to get balcony room again. No chairs outside, had envisioned morning coffee outside. Parking is an extra $35.”

• The location was great. The color scheme was elegant. Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries were nice.
• Price of parking was as half as much as the room for the night.

“The hotel had an understated elegance. It was very well located for a variety of shopping and dining experiences. The view from our 22nd floor room was very European. It overlooked the Christian Science Center Plaza and Symphony Hall. Both buildings are classic architecture. The Museum of Fine Arts is a comfortable walk away. Staff was pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable.”

• It was conveniently located.
• At 6 am, there was an odor of bacon coming into the room both nights.

• Room with a balcony! Widescreen HD TV. Big bathroom. Excellent view.
• No free internet in the rooms. There should be wireless or wired free access.

“Overall, very satisfied. The location was perfect for us. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. I think that hotel guests could get a better break on parking, however $35 a night when you are a guest is expensive, in my view, $20/night would be reasonable.”

• Fire alarm (false) at 2:30 AM but couldn't be helped.

• Although internet was $20 in the room, there was free access in the coffee shop lounge in the lobby.
• Parking fees of $35.00/day.

“Comfy beds, clean. Convenient to subway, which is important in Boston since driving is difficult. Friendly, helpful staff.”

• Not connected directly to Prudential Center, pool was not open.

“Nice hotel, very disappointed that pool was not open (3 kids with us). Overall, cannot deny that the hotel itself was great, the staff was helpful, the rooms were nice & clean. Would stay there again.”

• Close to big mall and less than a mile to Fen way.
• Pool was under repair.

“This hotel is 1 minute walk to the mall and walking distance to Fen way. There is a Subway stop within 2 minute walk. Very clean and in a very safe location. Would definitely stay here again.”

• Being charged for the parking, with no mention of it.

“While the hotel was nice, romantic and centrally located to everything, several things occurred that soured my taste with this hotel. First we were charged for parking $35 per car (we had two) with no mention of this anywhere. Upon checking in with our 3 year old we were told the pool was out of order and nothing could be done. Needless to say, our little girl was upset, we were upset and the only response we got was nothing can be done about it.”

• Near prudential center-convenient to trains-sight seeing.
• Pool was not in service had to go across the street to the Sheraton to use hot tub.

• Friendly staff, nice enough room.
• The pool was closed with no warning, shower drain clogged.

“Expect to pay around $40 for parking. Loved the hotel itself, great location for sure, however the shower drain backed up immediately, and the bathroom was poorly designed. Although the staff was great the front desk told me that there was free wireless (later I found out it was only free in the Starbucks in the lobby) and that the pool was open from 5 AM to 10 PM (we went to the pool around 11 AM and it was closed for the week!) not too satisfied, kind of wished I had stayed in a suburban hotel. Like I said, great value for the class of hotel, do not stay here if you are with family or on vacation. Too big of a hotel too have a personal feel, or for the whole staff to know what is going on.”
