• Free continental breakfast was great!

“I enjoyed my stay at the Buckminster. The hotel room was very large and had a fantastic view of Fenway Park. The free continental breakfast was great. Overall great hotel at an affordable price.”

• Location to Fenway park.
• Dated and ugly room, lousy view, TV did not work.

“Basically this hotel was exactly as described: great location to Fenway Park but nothing fancy! The room was ugly and we had a view of the rooftop air conditioners. The TV did not work and the front desk didn't really seem to care. It was very quiet though which was surprising for it's city location. We will stay here again because it is a 5 minute walk to Fenway and the parking was only $18 - a good deal in Boston!”

• The front desk called minutes after getting to the room to make sure everything was to my liking.
• The cracks and patches were highly visible on the walls.

“Very friendly staff and amazing location. 3 minutes walk from Fenway and House of Blues. Parking can be a hassle, but there is a public parking garage right behind the hotel that accepts parking vouchers from the hotel.”

• It was within walking distance of Fenway perfect for game.

  AC in the room . I loved the windows open but
  AC would be nice.

• One block from Fen way Park.
• No air conditioning.

“Hotel was okay. I was not told of $26 per night parking fees or Boston city tax of 12.5% by hotel. This added an additional $80 to my bill, and I am extremely aggravated by the oversight.”

• Location, staff, rooms.
• Seemed hard to get a taxi.

“Hotel was right in Kenmore Square. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. We would gladly suggest the Buckminster to anyone looking for a good value in Boston.”

• Older hotel, clean but needs remodeling soon.

• Staying at the hotel served our family purpose and would stay there again. The hotel was close for to where we were going.
• The bathroom door would not close correctly. Other than this it was a pleasant stay.

“The lobby and the rooms of the hotel were very clean, the family stayed only for over night purposes. We would recommend anyone to stay there. It's just a hop to the fen way park area.”

• I can't think of anything...

“I loved my stay at the Buckminster! I only stayed one night and wished that I could have stayed a week. I had made plans to go to a sox game and I was really worried about booking this hotel because of reviews that I had read on this site and other travel sites. I have nothing to complain about. We stayed on the 6th floor and had a great view of fen way. The hotel is old but not dirty. The room we stayed in was large and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Also, the wooden shutters blocked out the noise from the street. The next time I stay in Boston, it will be at the Buckminster.”

• Hard beds and it was under remodel.
