“ Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. It was nice that they offered a shuttle to Harvard or MIT, but would have been great if they had a shuttle back from there as well. ”

“My second stay in this hotel. First was worse. I would not bid for this area again in fear of "winning" this location.”

“ I just thought that "Hyatt" carried along with it a reputation of high quality, that maybe the case, but not in Boston. The rug was covered in stains, hair in the bathroom, the sink didn't have cold water. And, the parking was expensive, especially for a hotel that is so far from a train station and without a shuttle. ”

“Not in a great/central location, but with gorgeous views, lovely rooms, pleasant staff, and fantastic health club. Restaurant was good for lunch but surprisingly, prohibitively, expensive for breakfast and dinner.”

“The hotel was very nice, however, we were put in a room in a secluded hall behind the restaurant. There was one other customer on the hall and she had a dog. Not only did we have to walk through the breakfast area every time we wanted to leave the room, there was construction going on right above our heads. Dragging our luggage through to our room was difficult because of the breakfast buffet lines. It wouldn't have been that big of deal, however, none else was put on that hall. I asked the front desk if they always put people back there and she point blank said no. She didn't apologize and said I should have called if I was not happy with the room.”

“The room was tiny and unclean, there was construction going on and could hear people talking as if they were in the room with us. Staff at the hotel was rude. For the Hyatt name this stay was terrible and did not meet expectations or provide the quality for the price.”

“There were renovations being done in the room above us that kept our child from napping. Our room overlooked the trash dumpsters.”

“As usual there is no mention of the parking expenses which were high. Also, another high class hotel charging for internet.”

“Overall, the hotel general areas were clean, staff very friendly, and restaurant definitely acceptable. The cleanliness of the room was very disappointing - rug was not vacuumed at all. We requested housekeeping to come to our room on the first night because the room wasn't vacuumed - no one ever showed. The second day housekeeping came by for the regular cleaning and room was still not vacuumed. Understandable that the floors have not been renovated in quite some time but the least they could do is vacuum!”

“On the whole, a pleasant visit, except for the startlingly poor breakfast buffet.”

“It is a nice hotel with a good staff. The first person, however, put us in a room with a very dirty carpet and no bedspread. Also told us that check-in was 4 pm. The second person we saw was very accommodating and switched us to a higher room with slightly better carpet and proper bed covers. We were shocked by the $35 parking fee however, we were also advised that we could, as many did, park on the street. That worked very well. Also the H2O in our room had a note to say it was $5 a bottle. Otherwise all of the staff were extremely professional and pleasant.”

“The hotel could be spruced up a bit inside the lobby. There was no sitting chair in my room, only a desk chair and that is not conducive to reading a book etc. The parking was an additional $35.00 and the internet access another 13.00. I believe the internet should be free, at least in the lobby area. It was pouring outside and there were no hotel umbrellas.”

“Great hotel, but be ready to pay another $50/day if you have a car to park and want in room internet!”

“I was very surprised that this was a Hyatt! I have stayed at many before and was seriously unimpressed. Staff was inefficient, had issues with check-in and had no idea how to handle the issues. The room was more motel like, in serious need of repair in so many areas. The shower appeared to be dirty, the door handle on the closet door was broken and there was no bottom sheet on the bed! Very unimpressed.”

“From some prior reviews, I expected problems with this hotel but found it perfectly fine, especially for the price I got it at through Priceline. It was a little rundown and older but clean and comfortable. My biggest complaint is the cost of the breakfasts offered.”

“Overall, the hotel is fine, and bathrooms a little dated. Location is terrible, can't walk to any shopping but they do have a shuttle and the driver is very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately you have to take a taxi back if you don't have a car. But I got a great deal on Priceline so the 10 dollars for a cab at night still made it a good deal. Overall it was fine.”

“Great view of the city of Boston. Close to Downtown and half a mile from a T-stop at BU Central (Green Line) or at Kendall/MIT University Stop (Red Line). Very nice workout facility. Rooms were nice, but could use a slight upgrading/ updating, as compared to some of the other Hyatt's I have stated at. Food in the restaurant was very good.”
