  • New room renovations and food from room service was delicious.
  • Outrageous charges to my bill from having to use the hotel phone.

“Nicely renovated rooms, delicious food, close but not too close to highway, friendly and helpful staff and convenient parking however do not use the room telephone as the charges are outrageous. ( It took away from the total enjoyment of our stay).”

  • AC was inoperative, bath fan was weak, trash in parking area not emptied/picked-up.

“Check-in was smooth. The room was attractive and comfortable with the exception of the inoperative air conditioning and weak exhaust fan in the bathroom. When we woke up in the AM the room was still 81 degrees despite my having set it to 65 that evening. The halls were cooler and drier than our room! I notified the desk clerk when we returned from breakfast and he said he'd notify the engineer and offered us a free breakfast buffet. Having just eaten, I asked if we could use it the next day and he said yes. When we returned from our day's exploration of Quincy the AC was still inoperative. Following a visit from the engineer we were moved to a room across the hall where the AC was working but the TV remote was not. Another call and we were provided with a working remote. The breakfast buffet was excellent but the 50's Diner was a better value and we would not have eaten at the hotel had it not been comped. Other minor deficiencies were burned out light bulbs (one of three in the bathroom) and single bulbs in three-way fixtures.”

  • Good location, easy access to school in Medfield, Boston, Cape Cod Massachusetts, and Newport RI.
  • Without GPS could be hard to find the hotel.

“Enjoy the stay with the whole family, air conditioned did not work for two days, the front desk personnel changed our room in the same first floor and received a courtesy full breakfast buffet, that was very good. Definitely will come back in my next visit to Boston.”

  • Took long time to print airline boarding passes.

“Hilton Dedham is a great hotel for business or leisure travelers with easy access by the "T" to Boston, Fen way Park and other attractions. It Borders a nice forest in the back, but is very close to major Highways too. Be prepared for a daily internet charge unless you area Hilton Honors Gold member.”

  • Expensive internet.

“My teenage son and I spent two days at the Hilton and enjoyed our stay. Great, helpful staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Definitely a hotel I would return to.”

  • Whole experience was relaxing. Staff was very friendly; pool was fun + open during convenient times; food was kid friendly.
  • Under the bed needed a vacuum.

  • The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
  • Fire alarm went off. Needs more fresh fruit selections on menu.

  • I was put in a smoking room when I asked for nonsmoking.

“The Hilton Dedham was a very nice hotel. The decor was a little outdated but very well kept. The staff for the most part was friendly. The gentleman who checked me in had zero personality. The room was very nicely decorated. The bed linens were crisp and fresh but the mattress could have been a little nicer. The room was clean. I loved the soap and shampoo. Crabtree and Evelyn. Several people at my meeting commented on how nice I smelled! The hotel was close to the highway and only a short distance from Boston.”

  • Loved this property, lobby/restaurant/bar was great, excellent customer service.
  • Location is a little tricky - entrance difficult to find.

  • The people and the promptness of the hotel's staff was definitely very fast and efficient. They make sure that the problem gets taken care of ASAP.
  • House keeping accidentally took my bottle of rum and the hotel replaced it for a newer and better bottle.
