Cleanliness:[7] • Location:[8]

  • Old Quaint Inn.
  • Draperies were musty and moldy smelling, bedding good.

“Good location, but could use some updating.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[6] • Location:[7]

  • Accessibility to historical sites was good from this location.
  • Noisy room, filthy carpets..

“Very disappointing...very run down. Dirty carpets - lobby, halls and rooms. Linens were clean as was bathroom. $3.50 charge for a 'courtesy' bottle of water, very high phone surcharge even for phone card calls. Very large noisy air conditioner right outside window on second floor...Great view of the air conditioner and a rusty roof. Ice machine near room didn't work....had to walk clear to the other side of the hotel. It takes 'class' to make every guest feel important regardless of booking venue...Sheraton does not pass that test.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[5] • Location:[7]

  • Excellent location for proximity to I-95 and Hansom Field.
  • Facilities were old but relatively well-maintained.

“This hotel, described as a 3-star, is not a particularly good choice for business travelers. Express checkout was not available through the TV (as described in the hotel's promotional materials). Breakfast ordered the night before was not delivered. Apparently the chef "never showed up," and the staff never bothered to notify the guests. There are better choices in the Bedford-Lexington-Burlington area.”

  • Nice bed sheets.
  • Smoking room. Humidity smell. Horrible.

“Everything is old and smells due to visible leaks and humidity!”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[6]

  • Although old, the hotel room was comfortable with good beds and lots of pillows.
  • The sign age was bad. Long term problem with city council.

“The hotel is about to become defunct. Problems with the city regarding sign age are forcing the owners to build elsewhere. It was a great and comfortable.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Beautiful wooded location.
  • It is old, badly needs renovating and smells musty.

“There was mold on the ceiling of the shower. The carpet was worn and stained. The wallpaper was peeling off around the A/C and stained in other places. The bathroom was hardly big enough to turn around in. The sink sprayed water all over when turned on. The door had been repaired but not painted. A lamp had been broken and just left in the room. The furniture the TV was in had lost a lot of it finish. The hotel charged $10.95 for Internet. It was definitely not a good experience!”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[9] • Location:[6]

  • The people and their services were friendly and efficient.
  • The hotel is in a very poor shape and not very clean.

“The hotel is far below my expectations almost in any term, except with the staff friendliness and efficiency and the beds, which were excellent. This hotel needs immediate total and massive renovation as its condition is extremely poor, it is smelly, has torn and stained carpets everywhere, electrical sockets and cables in a bad condition, you hear the noise of the external air-conditioning systems inside the room, and the interned service (that you pay extra for) does not send outgoing mail. It is definitely not a 3 star hotel, not even 2 star quality, except for the excellent staff and beds.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[5] • Location:[5]

  • Clean.
  • Old.

“We recently stayed at a 3 star hotel in Salem, MA (Marriott) and in Hartford, CT (Hilton). This Sheraton in no way compared to either the Marriott or the Hilton. ”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[5] • Location:[8]

  • It was just off of I-95.
  • Breakfast was not included which is important when traveling with children. NO pool.

“The location is exclusive and gives the feeling of being in a resort, but that feeling ended at the door. There was no free internet service in the lobby, a credit card was needed to use the sole computer. No pool. When I entered my requested amenities, I could have sworn I had asked for a hotel that had breakfast included. I will say that the room was good for the money--beds were comfy, blankets thick--but I was disappointed that I got nothing more than that. Maybe the Sheraton is too exclusive for my budget.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Decent Exercise Equipment.
  • Carpeting in hallways are worn and torn in parts. Bathroom needed remodeling. Poor grouting and caulking.

“Convenient to I-128 and Mass Pike. Quiet and secluded. Not what I would expect from a 3-star Sheraton hotel. Decor could use a makeover.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • Staff, it was quiet.
  • Dirty, clutter, small, smelly, damp.

“A/C units in open view under stairwell--hazardous to children, open light fixtures, filthy carpets. Location is pleasant, kind of remote, but not too much so, makes it very quiet. Very musty smell. I would not have rated this hotel a ONE star, let alone a THREE star and it is no where near the level a Sheraton is expected to be. Floors are on all different levels, but NO elevator. Ice machine broken. No bell boys to help with luggage. Very disappointing. I have taken photos of the property and the items described and will be forwarding them to Sheraton.”

  • Beds.
  • It's in terrible condition; dirty, worn, yucky.

“This property is so bad. It's way over-rated; no pool; no special amenities. Requires a fee for Internet access, business center, telephone, and bottled water in room.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[9]

  • Next morning took responsibility for problem with room by offering complimentary breakfast.
  • Non-smoking room reeked of smoke & night clerk wouldn't provide different room.

“Seemed no different than two star places I've stayed in the area. Non-smoking room was clearly not non-smoking. Night staff not so accommodating; day staff better.”

  • The Staff and that was it!!!!!!!!!
  • This is the worst place I ever stayed at the smell of it was the worst.

“This place is getting knocked down in OCT 06 due to the fact it is so run down and old!!!! Per staff was cheaper to tear down then to re do I had mold in my room it smelt of pure stink old smell. The inter net was 10.00 a day. The staff was great matter fact the staff and the new Sheraton bed were the only 2 things nice in this hole place!!!!!!”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • The staff was wonderful, changed our room and credited our 1st night.
  • It was no where near a 3 star. Holes in the wall, smoking stink in room and halls, coffee maker spilled all over, fan rattled all night.

“This would be a beautiful hotel if the Sheraton would gut all the rooms and replace the furniture and make it a non-smoking hotel. It was the nastiest place we ever stayed in. It was mistakenly rated 3 stars. I've been in 2 star hotels that were cleaner and more updated. I think you should remove this hotel from your listing. It is quite a disappointment. The staff was fabulous.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[6]

  • Accommodating staff; the hotel itself had character since it is older and not the commonplace hotels like most chains.
  • We were originally in a room in the basement that was full of mold and smelled like mildewed towels.

“Nice hotel, but difficult to find, since the sign was small and hard to see in the dark. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly. The first room they put us in was of such poor quality, that I couldn't believe what I saw (including a black hand print on the wallpaper close to the ceiling, and mold growing around the baseboards in the room). If I hadn't seen that first room, I think it would have gotten a higher rating from me.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Staff friendly/Shuttle services.
  • Roof leaks/AC does not work at fitness room.

“The staff was great. Very friendly and informative. Used shuttle service to Boston and to a restaurant in Lexington.3 miles from historic Concord. Original room was a single bed/Upgraded by manager to larger room with 2 beds at no additional cost. Hotel needs some repair/Roof leaks/Water under side entrance door during rains/AC does not work in fitness room. I still would recommend this hotel.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • Very clean, comfortable, right off the highway.
  • They charge for internet access.

“The Sheraton of Lexington is a great hotel. The room and bed was big and comfortable. The shower was cleaning, providing all the needs, and was more than I expected for the price.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[1] • Location:[8]

  • The location was very convenient to the freeway but was still quiet.
  • This hotel is in need of a renovation.

“This hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. It is not worthy of a 3-star ranking. The staff were not friendly or prompt. We had to wait 15 minutes before we found someone who could check us into the hotel, and then he was curt and unhelpful when our room was unsatisfactory. There were exposed lights and fan in the bathroom, and the room had a rank odor. The exercise equipment was acceptable, but the air conditioning in the exercise room was completely broken. The outside door of the hotel was not accessible with the key card and was left propped open. All in all stay at another hotel if possible.”
