Cleanliness:[3] • Location:[1]

  • Nothing Awful Location -Worst Hotel I have ever seen.
  • Bad neighborhood -dump.

“I felt scared upon entering the Hotel parking lot, very bad section and very scary at 1:00PM in afternoon. Not recommended for anyone - dangerous for seniors kids etc.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[7] • Location:[6]

  • Expressway location.
  • Not at all well maintained and inefficient amenities.

“Very dirty, foul smelling, located next to a transit rail line with runs every 10-15 minutes. WiFi service was weaker than dialup and often failed completely.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[8] • Location:[7]

  • Staff was very friendly and helpful. Many nearby restaurants and delivery options.
  • The room smelled had a very strong chemical odor upon check-in, common areas a bit run down.

“Not bad at all for the price. Really met my needs fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wouldn't suggest for family travelers with kids. Some shady business nearby (pawn shops/ gambling/ adult oriented). Otherwise convenient access to highways and plenty of dining/ food delivery options.”

“Cheap, free breakfast, but location wasn't much to be desired.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[7] • Location:[1]

  • There was parking.
  • It was dirty, and our room had cockroaches.

“When we first arrived at our hotel, the room was ok, but the carpeting and walls were very dirty and not maintained. When I went to take a shower in the morning, there was pubic hair in our tub. We also saw cockroaches on the wall a couple of different times. The area seemed to be very unsafe, and we were happy that we were spending more time away from the hotel than in it. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. It's too filthy.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[8] • Location:[1]

  • Good location.
  • Very noisy, located right near rail tracks.

“Room just okay, I heard trains passing all night on a regular basis. In other words, it was advice.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[1]

  • Slap paint on a pig it's still a pig.
  • The door to our room was 20 yards from the railroad tracks and trains.

“This is the crappiest little motor lodge I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. The carpet is so Nasty you don't dare take off your shoes. The beds are small and really old. There is construction at the motel, installing fire sprinklers so you hear that racket all day. The trains come by every 15 min so you hear that all day and night. The staff is rude, the breakfast is non-existent. The muffin was so hard you couldn't even slice it in half and the coffee tasted like mud. Stay away from this place. If you can find a parking spot because of all the truckers parking their big rigs in the little parking area then you can't back out of the parking space once you are there. It was just awful and our family was stuck here for three days. Horrible conditions.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[4] • Location:[4]

  • Sheets seemed clean although worn.
  • Very worn and dirty. Toilet was dirty as was the bathtub and floor. I wouldn't walk barefoot on the carpet.

“Would not recommend this motel. Very depressing, dated and dirty.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[10] • Location:[5]

  • Management very friendly. Asked if we needed any recommendations for restaurants.
  • Floor dirty. Carpet filthy. Room reeked of pine sol type cleaner.

“Pleasant enough but not quite clean enough. Train right behind hotel and loud but only 3 went by after 9:00 pm. Beds were quite comfortable.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[9] • Location:[3]

  • Price. Continental breakfast; near the highway; bed was very comfortable!
  • Smelled of smoke and humid/dampness-rooms were outdated.

“The price was fine. We were only there to get a few hours sleep. There were no towels, but the staff explained why and got us some immediately. Staff was friendly and good to deal with. I would have been very upset if I had paid full price. Rooms need to be updated.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[5] • Location:[3]

  • Close to Rte. 95 & restaurants.
  • Filthy! Un-kept!

“The outdoor hallways need painting. Toilet in room leaked so much there was an actual puddle that worked its way under the tile to the other side of the bathroom and soaked the rug on the entire side of the bed. Bathroom door had been forced in at one point and there was no latch on it so it could not be shut. Electric heater in bathroom has left stains all up the wall and the back side of the door.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[9] • Location:[5]

  • I liked the pillows. Bed was comfortable. Nice having fridge/microwave.
  • Didnt like the train next door (noisy).

“Overall served my purpose. I had a one night stay for an early appointment in am. I would not have stayed for a long period of time. Was convenient to highway.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[5] • Location:[3]

  • The bed was comfortable.
  • The shower curtain was stuck to itself with mold and the towel I used had a hole in it.

“The outside of the hotel smelled like cat pee, there was a strange girl sitting near the stairs talking on her cell-phone while it was charging in an outdoor outlet. The shower curtain was stuck to itself with mold and the towel I used to dry myself had a hole in it.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[6] • Location:[1]

  • The evening front desk clerk was very helpful in suggesting dinner choices.
  • Constant Train noise. 3 Police cars greeting me after dinner. My worst hotel experience in years!

“I felt very unsafe. After dinner, there were 3 police cars in the parking lot with a suspect handcuffed and in the backseat. I stay in hotels 4 nights a week year round and have never experienced such a place with constant train noise and questionable neighborhood. ”

May 13, 2007 by Pam from Mirror Lake, NH
Overall Rating: 5 Overall user rating
Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[7] • Location:[5]

  • The only positive thing I can say is that the front desk person was helpful.
  • It looked like a low level hotel from every angle!

“I would not stay here again. It was not in a very nice section of town, and the carpet had been torn up--for renovations, I guess--and the clientele looked less than desirable! I had to walk up a flight of stairs on concrete, and I locked myself in the room immediately! Also, there is a train that passes by right near the hotel. And a police car seemed to be patrolling when I left the hotel the next morning!”

Staff:[4] • Location:[6]

  • The location was good.
  • Bad odor in hallways and in non-smoking room.

“I stayed at this hotel last year and had a better experience in the past. It seems to be going down hill.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[2] • Location:[3]

  • Nothing.
  • Hair in the bathroom and no towels in the first room we were given. Desk help couldn't care less.

“Because of this experience I will never stay at a Day's Inn again. They are going down hill fast.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[3] • Location:[3]

  • None.
  • Bed sheets were not clean with stains. Mosquitoes flying the room and the toilet was clogged.

“It's a horrible hotel we've ever had. This was my second time to live in a Days Inn. The first one was terrible when we were at a Days Inn in L.A., California. We would absolutely not consider Days Inn as our choice in the future trips again.”
