  • Clean, pleasant surroundings, reasonable rates, easy to find and excellent shuttle!
  • Lobby on second floor, not first and not clearly marked in elevator! Got lost trying to leave!

  • We had to be moved and the recliner was busted in room.

  • Manager's interest in my stay at exit.
  • Request made for additional chair not met with any explanation.

“Nice greeting upon check in. Friendly staff. Made request for luggage rack and additional chair, but no response - guess they "forgot. Thankful for inquiry by Manager when exiting hotel as seem genuine.”

  • The rooms were very appealing and very comfortable as well.
  • The breakfast seemed to shut down a little early.

“My experience with this hotel was pleasant. The rooms were nice, comfortable, and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to questions asked. It was very close to the airport and the complimentary shuttle was helpful as well.”

  • The staff was friendly but hard to communicate with housekeeping.
  • Our bathroom floor was dirty and one of the beds had stains.

“Most La Quinta Inn's are very appealing. This one needed a little more TLC in the bedroom. The staff was friendly and assisted in our problems in a timely manner when there were issues with other guests.”

  • Complimentary breakfast, friendly service, clean. Internet access in lobby worked well.
  • Rooms comfortable but not very attractive.

“Good for business travelers or casual travelers to Providence area. Commute to downtown Providence is about 10 minutes. Facilities clean and La Quinta provides a computer in lobby for complimentary 15-minute internet access and a great breakfast. The rooms could look nicer, but are very comfortable. 2-2.5 stars.”

  • Cleanliness seemed to be an issue.

“The hotel hallways and our room smelled like smoke, even though smoking was not allowed in the space. Used towels were also left on the floor in the bathroom of our room, after it had been cleaned.”

  • The room was clean and the hotel had great amenities in a great location!
  • The staff did not know a lot and did not inform us of happenings.

“The hotel was wonderful until the fire alarms started going off every half hour or so for at least 3 minutes at a time 3 days straight. The manager and other staff did not warn us about the fire alarms nor give us an explanation as they were going on, they simply let it happen without mention until we approached them about it! They were rude and during breakfast the staff was rude as well. The only redeeming quality of the staff was that the cleaning ladies were nice and helpful!”

“The hotel itself was pretty good for the star level and the amenities were great! The staff, however, could never figure out how to check us in and bothered us quite often. Furthermore, there were fire alarms going off for three days at various time intervals and there was no explanation from the staff as to why or when they would stop, etc. Very unfriendly! The cleaning ladies were the best part of the staff.”

  • The staff was friendly and accommodating.
  • There was construction going on but they did not disturb me in the evening.

“The staff must have checked me in over the phone and when I got there they indicated that I had already checked in. When they saw I had not they checked everything out to make sure my room was empty and they were very pleasant. I found the staff friendly and the rooms clean. I would highly recommend the LaQuinta Inn to anyone traveling to Rhode Island. Although I did not use it, there was adequate shuttle service to the airport. The staff helped make my trip enjoyable.”

  • Very unhappy with this hotel.
  • Under construction, strong smell from new carpets/paint, arrived @ 12:30 am-had to change rooms-bed not made, kitchen locked.

“I made reservations at this la quintal because I had always had beautiful and comfortable rooms in previous la quintal hotels. This hotel was under construction (no mention of this when I made reservations on-line), had strong smell of paint and new carpeting, (also, decor is dark and dreary) we arrived in early am due to a late flight, but couldn't even get juice or a cup of coffee in the morning after the kitchen closed at 9:30 am (the machines were locked. I was also given another persons receipt. The mgr was trying to be funny until I told him I wasn't laughing. My review. Never again!”

  • Absolutely nothing will ever stay here again.
  • No one told us that they are renovating.

“Worst experience I have ever had. Dirty rooms, bugs, no wastebasket. Do not stay here. Who does construction on memorial day? Meanest staff I have ever encountered. Do not stay here!”
