“Good for business travelers or casual travelers to Providence area. Commute to downtown Providence is about 10 minutes. Facilities clean and La Quinta provides a computer in lobby for complimentary 15-minute internet access and a great breakfast. The rooms could look nicer, but are very comfortable. 2-2.5 stars.”

“The hotel hallways and our room smelled like smoke, even though smoking was not allowed in the space. Used towels were also left on the floor in the bathroom of our room, after it had been cleaned.”

“The hotel was wonderful until the fire alarms started going off every half hour or so for at least 3 minutes at a time 3 days straight. The manager and other staff did not warn us about the fire alarms nor give us an explanation as they were going on, they simply let it happen without mention until we approached them about it! They were rude and during breakfast the staff was rude as well. The only redeeming quality of the staff was that the cleaning ladies were nice and helpful!”

“The hotel itself was pretty good for the star level and the amenities were great! The staff, however, could never figure out how to check us in and bothered us quite often. Furthermore, there were fire alarms going off for three days at various time intervals and there was no explanation from the staff as to why or when they would stop, etc. Very unfriendly! The cleaning ladies were the best part of the staff.”

“The staff must have checked me in over the phone and when I got there they indicated that I had already checked in. When they saw I had not they checked everything out to make sure my room was empty and they were very pleasant. I found the staff friendly and the rooms clean. I would highly recommend the LaQuinta Inn to anyone traveling to Rhode Island. Although I did not use it, there was adequate shuttle service to the airport. The staff helped make my trip enjoyable.”

“I made reservations at this la quintal because I had always had beautiful and comfortable rooms in previous la quintal hotels. This hotel was under construction (no mention of this when I made reservations on-line), had strong smell of paint and new carpeting, (also, decor is dark and dreary) we arrived in early am due to a late flight, but couldn't even get juice or a cup of coffee in the morning after the kitchen closed at 9:30 am (the machines were locked. I was also given another persons receipt. The mgr was trying to be funny until I told him I wasn't laughing. My review. Never again!”

“The rooms are spacious and clean. The pillows great. Loved the bedding-cotton, white duvet. Bathrooms like new. Easy off/on I-95. 5 min. from Providence, 15 from Seekonk. Hotel like new. Pool quiet, clean. Nice breakfast w/ waffles, yogurt, fruit, muffins, bagels, juice. Something for everyone. Easy to hear hallway activity but the other patrons well-mannered. A/C no problem. Got room @ 1/2 price. This was perfect for our family. We booked 2 rooms. No problems/complaints. No airport noise.”
