• Location.
• Rooms were offered at a lower price to walk-ins and shower rods not in place correctly.

• No swimming pool.

“When we got there, the trash was over flowing in the cans and all over the parking lot. Very bad.”

• Friendly staff, spotlessly clean!
• Room did not have a relaxing chair, ie arm chair etc.

“Staying at this hotel is usually a pleasure. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. The room was exceptionally clean and had a nice fresh smell.”

• Location.
• Filthy heating unit grids and housing covered with debris and grime.

“Adequate for cost conscience travelers. Free breakfast bar. Good front desk staff. Problem with dirty heating unit taken care of immediately by manager and a housekeeper on a Sunday even though the janitor wasn't on duty. I hope the manager inspects all of the other room heating units-”

• Close to highway, restaurant, and Kmart.
• Room heater/air conditioner and bathroom fan were very loud.

“The hotel was great, but the noisy heater/air conditioner and bathroom fan were very loud. Also, a homeless man was hanging outside the front doors, very dirty man asking for money. He was observed sitting outside on the benches every night. The hotel should have had him removed.”

• Very clean and only 20 miles to our concert venue.
• Its in a little bit of a run down area.

“We really enjoyed our stay. The only little problem was that there was really no shopping in the area and we thought that we were going to get a king size bed but that was ok.”

• Very clean and appears to be a fairly new building.
• Bathroom is a little small, but I am really only mentioning it since I have to say something I did not like!

“Super convenient location to 495, and only about 20 minutes from Great Woods/Tweeter/Comcast Center (or whatever the name is this week). Continental breakfast is pretty decent as well.”

• Complimentary breakfast.
• Dog barking in room across from us.

“Nice people and clean rooms. Great ideas on how to go the extra mile for a complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately, one of the guests had a dog that yapped and took away much of the pleasure of the stay. .”

• Disgusting display on the part of front desk clerk.

“We've stayed here many times, even back when it was the Tage Inn. We've never been disappointed until this time. We had just returned from dinner with our family, and upon our return, neither of our room keys worked! My husband went to the front desk to get them re-keyed, even though we'd only checked-in a few hours earlier that same day. The front desk clerk who had checked us in wasn't there. So he stood there for a minute or so. Nothing. He made the mistake of checking in the sitting/coffee room, off the restaurant and found the desk clerk in a chair, making out with his girlfriend? He was disgusted, she was embarrassed, she re-keyed the keys.”

• Rather drab accommodations.

“We were first given a smoking room and moved to a handicapped room which was still a smoking room, but not as bad. Room was dreary but large and bathroom was very large and clean. Hotel could use some redecorating.”

• Everything, beds, room, pillows and the smell.

“Using it this time however, was with very poor results. Although the staff was friendly enough, the facility was snotty, and had a negative cleanliness level, as well as poor comfort in the beds and things provided in the rooms. Overall I would never stay there again! I was very dissatisfied.”

• Staff was very friendly and helpful!
• Slightly dated compared to other La Quinta's I've used.

“The hotel was acceptable considering the location necessary for my business trip. Some things about the hotel showed signs of their age, so the value could have been better. The friendly and helpful staff made up for some of this though.”

• Location and safety.
• Sheets hadn't been changed, bathroom had a foul odor, smoking room, stained blanket, just overall dirty. Should be a 1 star, no way 2.

“Sheets hadn't been changed in one of the beds (hair present, stain on the blanket). Bathroom foul odor. Clearly a dirty room. Asked for non-smoking and was told it wouldn't be a problem. Interesting, stayed there several times when it was "Tage Hotel", and found it excellent value. Price was low, but not a 2 star, definitely a one star. Would never stay there again.”

• Very convenient to the highway.
• Non smoking room was really smoky.

“A perfectly OK 2 star hotel in a very convenient location. Don't expect anything more than a clean bed and a pretty decent breakfast in an otherwise overpriced area. Our supposedly non smoking room was really stinky with smoke, but the hotel was sold out so we had to live with it. The hotel might need a face lift -- carpets, sidewalks, etc are starting to look worn.”
