  • Renovated room.
  • Where were the staff? Very dark, uphill driveway dangerous at night.

“Not a three-star hotel. The entrance is dangerous to drive up at nighttime. The room was newly renovated, yet it was very frustrating to not have any electrical outlets available anywhere near the bed (for charging cell phone, laptop, using heating pad). Housekeeping did a poor job, didn't remove dirty glasses, restock coffee or enough towels. The first night I got in I was exhausted and only wanted a meal. Nobody would answer for room service, despite calling three times and letting the phone ring and ring. When I called the front desk, they reconnected me to the room service extension instead of helping me. After being on the phone for 10 minutes, I finally got a chance to order. Continental breakfast was decent, this unfortunately the best part of the stay.”

  • Price of breakfast was too high, only ate there 1 morn.

  • This hotel was a two star at best.

“This hotel needs a renovation, was a two star at best. The bathroom ceiling tiles were rusted, the television did not work, the air conditioner is loud and musty. The bed linens could tell more stories than a sailor in port. Terrible experience.”

  • It was located in a good spot.
  • The room was pretty gross.

“The hotel location was convenient and the staff was friendly, but there is no way this is more than a 2-star hotel. It was pretty gross, there was junk on the iron, orange mildew in the bathroom, and the heating/cooling unit was very out dated.”

  • Elevator was broken, so was my arm and I received no assistance.

  • Easy access to highway, indoor pool.
  • Internet not working in our room, staff unprepared for information about local church services.

“This hotel was convenient to highway access. We found it to be outdated and a bit run down. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the room heater was loud. The pool was quite chilly too. Hotel staff was aloof and unable to assist us with a list of local churches and services. Internet service was not working in our room. Definitely not 4 star hotel.”

  • The hotel front desk staff were very nice.
  • Not Clean, and not close to a 3 star.

“This Hotel should be a 2 star hotel, you have it coming up as a 3 star and it is not even close, old decor, bedding, poor housekeeping, old TV that works sporadically, ants in the room (not kidding!), you need to downgrade this hotel immediately!”

“Holiday Inn is a moderate hotel. Had all the necessities, but nothing special at all. When I select "3-star" I am expecting more than just a bed and an old bathroom.”

  • Efficient check in and out.
  • Too many kids running up & down halls even after 11:00 p.m.

“Nice hotel with clean rooms. NOT a 3 star. My room was small with a small TV, no refrigerator or microwave, etc. At least the shower head was a decent massage type. Biggest problem was the noise. There were kids running up and down the halls late into the night. Called the desk and they sent security, but he didn't stick around long enough and noise just restarted and went on past 11:30 p.m. Not acceptable for business people needing to work the next day.”

  • My husband and I were both on business in different places and it was convenient for both of us.
  • Old heating units in the room. First room it was not working and we had to change rooms.

“It was, overall, a good hotel for our needs. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was nice. The room and the public areas were always clean and neat. Nothing fancy, but a good business or family hotel if you need easy highway access.”

  • Convenient location, indoor pool, convenient vending machines.
  • We had little ants in our bathroom, and the heater in our room was so inconceivably loud.

“I was very unhappy with our stay at this hotel. We had small ants in our bathroom, and the heater in the room was so incredibly loud, it sounded like a helicopter was in our room. It woke me from sleep several times during the night. After notifying hotel staff in the morning of the problems, she said she was aware of these issues, and that renovations were being planned for the upcoming year. I didn't find this out until my check arrived, however. If Id known that, I would have taken my kids somewhere else for breakfast.”

  • The location was perfect for us.
  • The heater was uncontrollable; we had to turn off and on a lot.
