• Great experience overall.
• No signs outside to tell you room numbers for the building.

“Great place for business or pleasure. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, nice area. Great breakfast. Just a wonderful experience overall. A little tip, make sure you get specific details about which building your room is in. You'll eventually find it, just makes it easier if they had signs outside.”

• The free breakfast was great- fresh fruit, waffle bar, cereal, eggs doughnuts, muffins and more.
• Loved it all.

“The staff was wonderful, always polite and helpful. We got discount tickets to the Mystic Aquarium at the hotel desk.”

• It is great for families. The kitchenette helps out with kids.
• The breakfast was crowded  hard to get to the food stations.

• The room felt comfortable and just right.
• The breakfast ended early for late risers. It was cleaned up well before 11am.

“Overall it was clean and exceeded my expectations. The fireplace didn't work but we were out and about anyways and didn't really need it. It was right off the highway and easy to get to. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nicer than many others I was larger than expected and very nice.”

• Nothing.
• I was disappointed in the room set up.

“I was very disappointed in this hotel. I booked a room for two people and thought there would be two beds. When I explained that I needed two beds there was nothing they could do except upgrade me to two bedroom and charge me extra. Then the clerk said he'd upgrade me to a one bedroom but there was still no extra bed---just a sofa.”

• Nice layout to the rooms.
• The remote for the extended services did not work.

“I was quite pleased. The rooms were spotless and the indoor Jacuzzi/Pool was pleasant. The room layout really made a lot of sense. The rooms were quiet. There was even a decent soft pillow, rather than the usual hard foam pillows.”

• The rooms were clean, spacious, and well decorated. The fireplace was great.
• Went down for breakfast within the scheduled time and there was practically no food left. Not even milk for cereal.

“The hotel was in a great location for our needs. I generally love the Residence Inn and this one was no different. The common area was nice, the room was great and so was the fireplace in the room. I did have a problem with the fact that they stated that they served breakfast within a certain time bracket and when we got there, which was well within the time frame, there was hardly any food left. I did make a complaint to the hotel but it ended there. They said they would make sure it didn't happen again.”

• Staff tried their best to correct room request; home conveniences.
• Breakfast buffet chaotic, crowded.

“The hotel was clean and efficient. Mystic Pizza delivers to your room, so family can curl up with pizza and a movie after touring and swimming in the pool. Could skip the breakfast and head down the road (buffet too crowded on weekend to relax over a cup of coffee). Otherwise a pleasant stay.”

• Spacious, well appointed, great service, excellent breakfast.
• Keys did not always open outside doors, insufficient drawer space.

• Very cute, spacious rooms, helpful staff.
• They allow pets, so some rooms may be noisy, although they will accommodate you if you ask to be moved.

“Great location, nice stay. Food in the morning was good. Pets are allowed, but that can be a problem if you're like the people down the hall from us, and get stuck next to a room that someone has berthed their yap-dog in while they sightsee. That poor little thing barked nonstop all night. Thankfully, we only heard the barking as we crossed through that part of the hotel. The staff told us they'd move us if it became a problem.”

• Clean, nicely stocked kitchen area in suite, two TVs with plenty of channels, yummy free big American breakfast
• small bathroom areas, no extra linens, chlorine vapors in pool area overpowering, hot tub not as clean as it could have been

“It was a pleasant hotel experience, but maybe a bit pricey for the lack of overall pleasant amenities. The modem in my room was a dial up. The pool was in a separate building and required us to walk outside. I liked the cable TV, the breakfast, the hospitality hour, and I noticed families with pets, which is a nice feature. The bedding for the sleeper sofa in our suite was not in very good condition, but the full size bed was very comfortable. I also was able to control the temperature in my room, which is nice for those, who like me, enjoy sleeping in a colder room. I'd stay here again with a discount.”
