• The hotel was clean. Waffles for breakfast a plus.
• There was a lingering smell in the hallway and in our room. Had to put AC on full blast to try to cover the smell.

“This place is good if you just need a place to stay, not a place to hang out and relax. We knew that we would just be going there to sleep so it was suitable for us. The staff was friendly, rooms clean, free parking, free breakfast, and free wireless internet. Only downfall was the lingering stench in the hallway and in our room, however I noticed that our friend's floor did not smell that way. There was also a hole in the way in our bathroom which made me nervous as to what would come out of it. Overall all it was satisfactory.”

• Pulling out of the parking lot.
• The staff was extremely rude.

“The beds were so hard that neither of us slept. My boyfriend went to the soda machines, and all of them would not take dollar bills. We will never stay in a Super 8 again.”

“We were very disappointed. The location for our purposes was good but our room was not attended to. Two days in a row it was not cleaned nor was there new towels. Our bed was not made and the room was never cleaned. We would never recommend this hotel!”

• Young kids partying all night until 4:00 a.m., smoking non-stop in rooms and hallway. Felt like I slept in a ashtray.

“I would not recommend. Complained to staff, they didn't seem to care. Young kids partying all night in 2 rooms next to mine. They were in and out of doors all night, banging walls, and smoking in the hallways and rooms. Constant swearing. We had a non-smoking room. We slept with the window open all night and the TV up loud so we didn't have to hear them. We didn't sleep at all. Me and my husband felt like we slept in a ashtray all night. We had smoke smell all over our clothes and in our hair. It was gross. I won't recommend. Staff didn't care and didn't over any money back after we complained. I won't ever stay there again!”

• Quick access to interstate, restaurants and shopping nearby.
• Morning staff was surly cig burns on bathroom sink.

“For the price I paid, it was actually better than I hoped. It was clean and presentable. A place to sleep.”

• We liked the homemade waffles in the breakfast.
• We liked everything about this hotel.

“My family and I would recommend this Super 8 hotel to anyone traveling in or to the Groton CT Area. The room was clean and quiet. The continental breakfast was more than sufficient. We felt safe and secure there.”

• Everything still smelled like smoke for non smoking.

• The staff at the front desk was above and beyond polite; they were awesome.
• The toilet was NOT cleaned it had stains on the toilet bowl and the shower was dirty (DISCUSSING).

“The hotel staff AWESOME the bed was comfortable the hotel appeared to have cameras for security very nice. HOWEVER the bathroom was totally DISCUSSTING the shower was dirty (wouldn't take a shower in it). The TOILET had not been cleaned had piss stains and what ever else for stains on the TOILET BOWL. (DON'T USE THE TOILET). The individual that didn't clean the room should be fired.”

• Left side door open all night for entrance without keys.

“We arrived and got checked in and noticed new carpeting throughout the entire ground floor. Sinks need upgrade but everything was clean and kept up. I would stay again. Only downside was the side entrance was left open all night for access from side parking lot.”

• The staffs were incredible and our room had a fridge/microwave that was fantastic!
• Some wear and tear that made the room aesthetically unattractive.

“The staff was wonderful. The room was just right for our purposes. It is located in the perfect place for wherever you want to go in the area. I loved the fact that there was both a mini fridge and a microwave in our room very convenient. It had minor physical imperfections but was overall a very clean, comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended.”
