• Location was perfect for us. The price was what we wanted.
• Bare bones. The staff forgot about us, did not turn the room over.

“The hotel is what you would think of for the price. They forgot to turn the room over and coming back from a full day that hurt. Spend the extra money on something nicer if you can. Location was great. Casino, Mystic, Block Island ferry all right there. The breakfast bar is very weak, Dunkin right down the street though.”

• Large room, clean, great location, very helpful staff.
• Was close to train tracks so you heard a whoosh from them.

“Knights Inn at Groton was a very good for the price. I had a walking boot on which I got after I get the room and had no problem changing to a first floor room. Everything was very clean, room was very large cleaning service everyday. Location was the best 99 to go, great food place but you had fast food just past that. Getting to casino's was a straight drive no problem at all. Would go back anytime.”

“First thing the front desk staff spoke very poor English. The shower had poor water pressure, and the shower had dirt in it. Was told queen size beds, no way they were queen, no alarm clock, or even a clock. No iron as promised. Very poor motel would never stay there again.”

• There was not a room to have the breakfast. You had to bring to room.

“Very nice. I would recommend to others. The continental breakfast was breads / muffins and drinks. There were not tables to sit at. It was either bring back to room or try to arrange at a side table in the lobby. We did have breakfast at a restaurant though. They do not have a pool at this point, but only being there for a night, we did not need to swim. The rooms were very nice and big.”

“Our hotel room was dirty and had a big blood stain on one of the box springs and blood drops on the other. Refused to give a refund when we checked out, just after checking in and when my husband talked to the manager the next morning, he insisted that his rooms are clean and gave us the refund from the hotel. We were traveling with young children and this was a very unsatisfactory transaction.”

• Lobby immaculate. Staff very friendly.
• Room a little barren. Pillows very flat.

“The location and price of this inn were exceptional. Room was without clock, iron, ironing board. Did have micro & fridge. Stairs very steep for anyone with any leg problem. This was fine for a one star inn.”
