• Near the highway, friendly staff and rooms were pretty big.

“The hotel was pretty decent for the price, free internet, a pool and spa. The rooms were pretty big, clean, kind of worn looking but the bathrooms looked a little more modern than the sleeping area.”

• Friendly staff at the front desk. Very personable.
• No staff in the office after 11:00pm.

“My stay was brief. However; my daughter had been there the week prior. Staff remembered her and was extremely friendly. There were only smoking rooms available. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room. It did not smell like a smoking room.”

• Close to Bear.
• Charged for the Internet.

“This hotel, more like a motel, was small and the staff was nice. The room was showing its age. It was furnished cheaply but the bed was comfortable. It was .7 miles to town and next to a car wash which was good. A small food store was .4 miles away. Bare is a small city by any standards but it was clean and the people were nice. Not a place that I would spend a week but that is just me, I like lakes.”

• Lack of amenities in room; rude staff.

“This hotel advertises free internet in its online ads. However, when we arrived, the clerk told us that we would have to pay $10 for the password to log in. The piece of paper that we purchased said "login information for free internet". Besides that, the connection wouldn't work as promised and internet customer service was nearly impossible to reach. When I contacted the days inn customer service center, they said that because the hotels are independently operated, management is free to do (or charge) what they see fit. They also told us that our room would have a mini-fridge. We didn't have one, and they didn't have any other available rooms with a fridge. Now we're stuck here for 4 nights (our company mailed checks in advance to pay for our stay, so we can't leave without losing a lot of money.) The staff has been rude since we arrived. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful area.”
