• Friendly staff and good facilities.
• Not a lot of cable channels. (Although they do have pay per view.)

“When I called to book a room I discovered this is now the Red Roof Inn. I was disappointed to find the Indian Restaurant that was here is now closed. But the guy at the front desk mentioned that they will soon be opening a "Tex-Mex" restaurant there, I'll have to check it out next time I'm in town. I've stayed at this hotel before and still have yet to have any problems. The rooms are cozy and I always make full use of the pool and fitness room. I don't care about the sauna, but they have it if you are into that. Most of the staff has changed over recently and I miss some of the people, but the new staff still seems very friendly and is always helpful. Also, I was glad to see that they are now a non-smoking facility. My only complaint would probably be that they should get some more cable channels, HBO would be nice, or at least ESPN. Even so, I would definitely recommend the Red Roof to anyone looking to get a great value for their dollar!”

• Nice décor.
• Chair at window had stains; pillows were standing not under bedspread.

“Restaurant was in remodel stage. Would have been nice to know that. No fruit served in the continental breakfast. For some reason it looked nice but I wasn't totally comfortable. The chair in the bedroom was stained. Bed not completely made. Hotel people themselves were very nice.”

• Convenience.
• I have been charged twice for my rooms and nobody seems to know why and I am getting very little help resolving the issue.

• Filthy hotel with and extremely, extremely rude staff.

“I picked this hotel as it was exactly half way to our ultimate vacation destination and since we were just looking for a place to sleep, I selected an economical room of $99.00We arrived at 9PM to a room with no pillows. When I called the front desk I was told the hotel had no more pillows. I expressed my dissatisfaction and was told next time I should bring my own. The carpets were black with track marks, the ice machines were broken and in the morning when my kids wanted to take a quick dip in the indoor pool before we left, we found the pool to have a gross film floating on top of the water with, mildew along the upper side liner.”

• The hotel was in a very convenient location, clean, and affordable.
• The walls are not very sound proof - could hear a child in the next room crying in the middle of the night.

“The hotel met our expectations for cleanliness and convenient location for the price of the room. We would have liked a restaurant within the hotel that served a variety of foods, not just ethnic selections. Longer breakfast hours would have better met our needs as vacationers - probably fine for the business guests. However, the hotel is in a convenient location to local restaurants.”

• Indoor and outdoor pool.
• Indian theme restaurant in lobby-strong odors.

“The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had to find it in the dark and the directions were automated so that made it a bit difficult as they refer to a "rotary" which we do not have in our hometown and did not know what they were talking about. I would have preferred to speak to a person directly.”

• Room looked worn and stained. Carpet had large red stain on it. Chairs were so stained that you needed a towel to sit on them. Very run down for $$
• Dirty...

“Needs to clean carpet as red stains that look like blood are below all standards. Chairs in rooms are stained and look like germs are living in them. Over all they need to clean and change the carpet drapes and furniture coverings.”

• Good facilities, large room, free wireless Internet, very pleasant staff.
• Free breakfast was not very good quality and only paper and plastic cups, bowls, etc.

“Very pleasant people, room with desk, Internet, sofa and king-sized bed was very comfortable and quiet enough (we asked for a quiet room- some may be noisy). Decoration style a little gloomy, but not unusual.”
