• Access to wireless internet and the pool.
• Did not have a hot tub near the pool.

• Felt unsafe, dirty, not a good environment.

“We were very disappointed and would not stay there again. It was dirty-with stained curtains, uncomfortable beds, dirty bathrooms!”

• Convenient to the Big E expo center.
• Noisy elevators, no free breakfast.

“Nice hotel, but never ask a room near the elevator. I was up all night because the racket was unbelievable. I would have moved to another room, but it was late and my husband was tired (and can't hear well, so that was not a problem for him). I notified the GM about the problem in the morning and she was very gracious and offered us a complimentary breakfast.”

• Nice restaurant and I liked that there was an exercise room.
• The pools chlorine level was too strong. My son had an allergic reaction from it.

• The front desk staff was very helpful.
• Would have wanted a free breakfast bar.

“The hotel was convenient, but not in the best of areas. I didn't do my homework and chose one that has a free breakfast buffet. Overall, it suited my needs to explore Springfield College.”

• The location to Amtrak and computer.
• Paying for rollaway (told I didn't have to) and no continental breakfast.

“The staff person was friendly. It is convenient to Amtrak. It is convenient to downtown Springfield which is a tough place so not sure if that is a good thing. The pool is nice though; good if you just stay in the hotel or go into W Springfield for dining.”

• The view from the restaurant was the ONLY acceptable thing at this hotel.
• The hoodlums that took over the pool and public areas with NO security during the day only the tip of the iceberg.

“This hotel is not only situated in the worst part of town but the service and atmosphere inside are just as bad. From Check In to check out nothing but bad service and unsafe unacceptable conditions.”

• Convenient to the MA pike.
• Restaurant.

“I arrived there at 10:45 and there was not a speck of food, juice, or coffee in sight, nothing. The place was completely cleaned up and there had not been any food there for quite some time; now was there even a person to speak to. I finally found someone in the kitchen after wandering around and trying 1 door after another. Very disappointing. Other than that the hotel was fine.”

• Noise wasn't bad.
• Bathroom was small, room was dirty, bed uncomfortable, asked for handicap room and was not accommodated, I just wouldn't go back ever!

• Pretty easy to find.
• The couple next to us who fought for hours.

• Excellent staff, free WiFi, nice restaurant.
• Stain on the carpet and a little run down.

“I have stayed here before and my experience both times has been positive. This hotel looks nice in the lobby area, but the rooms are a little run down. Overall the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly, a great value for the price.”

• It has a fridge, microwave and free WiFi.
• Clean towels aren't replaced daily.

“Good hotel for the business traveler that just wants a place to sleep. Room is generally clean, so is bathroom. It just bugged me that the towels weren't replaced, the room vacuumed or the complimentary water replaced daily. Its almost a 2 1/2 they just need more attentive cleaning crew.”

• Restaurant was unorganized and short-staffed.

“Would not chose this hotel again. The restaurant staff was unprofessional at both dinner and breakfast. Bill needed to be adjusted, our table was moved in the middle of dinner, and the food was not high quality. The desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was over crowded and there were several older boys playing so rough, we felt we had to leave with our young children before someone got hurt. The pool changing/bathroom area is dirty.”

• Great Customer Service.
• Housekeeping staff yelling to each other in the hall - while other guests are sleeping.

“Enjoyed the atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent easy access to highway and various locations of interest. I will recommend this hotel to employees, family and friends.”

• We requested connecting rooms, we had 3 rooms connecting. Excellent.
• Nothing.

“The staff at this Holiday Inn were very accommodating to our group. Unfortunately, a stomach bug went through our group and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job making sure that our room were clean.”
