• Place was clean & staff was friendly.
• Had to pay to park and that was not disclosed while check in.

“The hotel was very nice. Lobby was clean and newly renovated, room was comfortable and also clean. The fitness center and pool were very well kept and the whole family had a wonderful time.”

“Clean hotel. Overall poor value. Having to pay $13.00 per day for parking, and no courtesy breakfast is pretty tacky for this day and age.”

• The staff was great.
• Hallways were a bit tired.

“The front desk staff was quick and courteous. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated. My daughter had her room because she wanted a king size bed, no problem. My daughter had left her dress for the wedding in the closet. We called back to the hotel. The had made arrangements to get the dress for us. They refused a tip for this service and they were busy rushing something that another bridal party had forgotten into a taxi and over to the church. They went out of their way for us and them and that is rare.”

• Great beds, nice shower head.
• Room size was small, missing towels, one of the toilet paper rolls were almost empty.

“Great staff, seemed like a hotel that catered to business guests, rooms were clean and relaxing, but ours was small, the other party I had purchased a room for had much larger accommodations.”

• Staff helped us out when we have trouble with noisy neighbors.
• The ventilation was not great: it was a bit stuffy.

• No coffee in room or access to coffee, early breakfast in hotel.

“The stay was fine and I would have stayed there again but the poor experience when the management was slow leaving me and others stuck in the parking garage waiting for an attendant to let us though the exit for 20 minutes make me change my mind on that.”

• This hotel is off the highway in the city itself and is clean.
• The TV was old in our room, I don't like to pay for parking. This hotel had parking charges. The whirlpool was old was not whirling, it was just was hot.

“This is a good hotel for families and for business traveler not good, was romantic weekend. It was clean and well staffed. Beware of parking charges and old TV in the rooms and a weak whirlpool.”

• The rooms were in immaculate condition and the beds were very comfortable.
• We did not like having to pay for parking.

“Nice hotel. We would definitely stay their again. Although they should probably do something about the pay parking. Their were convenient amities for everyone.”

• It's very neat and nice/.
• The room was very warm and we asked for a please to eat within walking distance and it was a bad area and the please was closed. Very bad area!

“It was a very nice place except for a couple of issues. The room was very warm as they did not have central a/c. We asked for a nice place to have dinner within walking distance and we ended up in a very bad area and the place that we were sent to was closed. The only people on the street were homeless people and drunk people and it was only at 8:00 pm.”

• The toiletries were great and the beds were comfortable.
• The pool didn't have any towels and wasn't very clean.

• Had a great pool and fitness center.
• No towels at the pool.

“We only stayed one night but with young children, the pool was a hit. The restaurant had a great am buffet which was quick and good. It was very close to Six Flags which was our final destination. We would definitely stay here again.”

• The water bottle was opened from previous guest. No complementary coffee etc, in AM. No refridge.

• The beds were great and the flat screen TV a plus.
• The pool was way over-chlorinated and not really kept up.

“Springfield isn't really the best place to be anymore, so $13 a night for parking (when the Sheraton across the street offers a far lower rate) seems exorbitant. The staff wasn't too friendly about it, either.”
