“The hotel staff is very friendly and professional trained. Room is not big and fancy but has a lot golden touches which make you feel comfortable.”

“The rooms were beyond small, and I found the staff to be unaccommodating. The hotel did not have hot water for an entire morning and did nothing to accommodate myself or the people I was with. We were there for my sister's wedding and the entire bridal party had to take uncomfortably cold showers, including the bride. They ran out of the food they offer on their late night menu. The service staff for our private breakfast had poor attitudes and were unwilling to meet our requests-my table asked for soda. I couldn't believe this is a 4 star hotel. I've had better experiences at some motels.”

“Everything was fine. The first room we were given had a smoky odor, but they quickly and cheerfully changed our room. The gym was good, bath/shower was pleasant, and bed was very comfortable. Only problem was that we signed up for Wifi and it wasn't working well -so slow it was useless. They were very apologetic.”

“The king bed room was like an oasis. Clean room, modernly decorated, will always stay there when visiting new haven.”

“I loved the atmosphere, luxury sheets, tons of pillows. Walking distance to Yale, which we were there to see, as well as restaurants, bars, and a nice park/green.”

“The hotel was nice, clean and the people were pleasant. On the down side, there was a fire in the hotel restaurant early Friday morning and we had to leave our rooms at 1:30 am and couldn't return until 4:00 am. Management did their best, under the circumstances, to offer water, blankets, coffee and tea to the displaced occupants but there weren't enough blankets to go around because management was barred from re-entering the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again even after the fire experience.”

“Central New Haven location, easy stroll to restaurants and Yale campus. The hotel is much more welcoming inside than out and is excellent value.”

“Centrally located, certainly adequate. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable, bathroom good sized, excellent shower. On the negative room is exceptionally small, wall paper and paint are dingy and peeling, ceilings low with large dusty vents.”

“We are so glad we chose the Omni. Comfortable clean room, I never felt I had to worry about what my kids were touching! We asked for a view and the view of New Haven was terrific. The view from the restaurant on the top floor is said to be the best in town. We do not have a lot of demands as travelers, but everything felt easy and low key there. All I would ask for is better lighting in the bathroom. If I would been putting on make up for an event or wedding I would have been annoyed. But overall, a real pleasure to stay and I hope to stay again.”

“The worst part was that I paid $45 for the breakfast that gets delivered to the room in the morning and the food was really bad. We ended up throwing it out and going out to eat somewhere else instead.”

“We were concerned by the fact that we were told not to venture outside of the hotel at night. We ate at the Temple Grill, per the hotel's recommendation, and it was yummy!”
