• Nothing.
• I checked out after one night. Place was a dump. Had to stay with friends. Welfare hotel at best. Really horrible conditions, dirty and smoky!

“The Wesley hotel in Danbury Ct was disappointing at best. My family and I checked out after one night. The hotel was a dump. This seemed to be a welfare hotel. We rode to our room in an elevator that was not recently inspected. Really horrible conditions, dirty and smoky! The shower did not work nor the TV.”

• It was a filthy swinehole. Needs to be updated in a major way.

“Stay away! Beds are hard and uncomfortable, sheets dirty, peeling paint throughout, hotel has clearly not been updated since perhaps the late 70s and things are falling apart. There was nobody at the front desk for an entire evening and I was locked out. Had to go to the outback steakhouse next door and have them track down the manager, who took hours to arrive, after he had been notified that there was nobody at the desk. As for the clientele, they are loud, sleazy, either college kids smoking marijuana. Stay away!”

• The restaurant attached to the hotel.
• This hotel is in very poor condition.

“I would not allow my wife to stay there alone. The attached restaurant will not allow charges to the room because the hotel does not pay the charges timely or at all. Wellesley used to be a very good economy hotel.”

• It was inexpensive.
• Maid service two out of four days, and went through my belongings.

“The clerk did not have time to get off his cell phone. The maid was more interested in going through my belongings than cleaning the room and only showed up on two of the four days of my stay. The hotel can only afford one cart and lost that for two days.”

• Gave me a refund for the horrible room I was in the first night.
• Shabby, deteriorating, not kept up- the heater didn't work, the toilet seat was detached- ugh.

• Bed bugs! Dirty room!

“There was an empty liquor bottle and a can of spray freshener in my supposedly clean room. Bed bugs! Shower alternately too hot / too cold. Awful! I want a refund!”

• It's convenient to I-84.
• The place is dumpy, creepy, smells, not worth staying at.

“The place is a dump! It was creepy to stay there since it was dumpy and not many people were staying overnight. The room looked dated and the television picture was horrible for cable TV. The place looked beat up. Carpets and ceilings were in need of repair. The stairway areas smelled bad. I would not stay here again if I can avoid it and would not recommend it to anyone.”

• Economical. Clean quiet rooms.
• Only one way access from freeway; barely made it up icy incline into hotel.

“Very good for the price, this hotel could be upgraded into a 2 or 3-star by management without too much effort. Facilities need maintenance.”

• This is the most disgusting hotel I ever went to. No desk or chair.
• Dirty, smelly.

• Staff was friendly, location was convenient for us.
• Wet spot on walls and floors, mold everywhere, dirty mattress, no bed skirts, had to change the room 3 times before TV and everything else was o.k.

“This is the dirtiest and most uncomfortable hotel I have ever been in. The place is totally run down. Your TV might not work, we didn't have bed skirts and the mattresses and floor were either wet! Or dirty. I told my child not to take her shoes off in the room and had her stay on the bed covers all the time. All the rooms are that way, because I changed my room 3 times before I felt I could sleep there for the night.”

• King size bed at double bed price, clean, comfortable.
• Nothing at all.

“I was not disappointed. The rugs were a little old but other then that it was better then a 1 star hotel. I would go again.”

• The rooms were big and it was connected to the outback steak house.
• People seemed to be living in the hotel.

“Overall it was good. The rooms were surprisingly large. It was in a great location. The outback steak house is connected to it, so that was a great feature.”

• First room was terrible. Smoky; broken doorknob and toilet; filthy carpet. Disgusting.

• Nothing; I hated it; rooms were moldy; left and went to another hotel.
• Mold; I'm calling the CT Dept. of Health.

“Hotel should be shut down by the Conn. Dept. Of health; the hallways and rooms were moldy; it was awful. We tried two different rooms; both were terrible. I was afraid my family was going to be sick and we were just starting our vacation. We went to the Hampton inn and stayed. The Wellesley allowed us to get our money back. I couldn't be more dissatisfied.”

• Price and location.
• Did not have my reservation. Booked a king size with sofa twice. Both times I just got a king.

“Every time I go to this hotel they do not have my reservation. On all 3 occasions I booked a king size bed with sofa but only got a king size bed in room. The TV in room 219 is blurry with lines. The rooms and hotel needs to be updated. The rooms are fairly clean.”

• The location was very accessible to the highway.
• It was musty and looked very old in the hallways. The blanket had cigarette burns in it.

“Although the room was spacious, the heater was quite noisy and made the room much too hot. The halls were musty and were dark and dreary. It may be good for a one night stay but not for any longer than that and definitely not one to bring your family too.”
