“Our first room assignment was very bad out of the way location near conference rooms. The room was on the first floor and had sliding glass doors that did not secure properly. After discussing our displeasure with the front desk, they upgraded us to a junior suite. The room was okay, however the air conditioning was not working properly and was quite warm for August. Fortunately I had brought along a fan, which helped us stay cool.”

“This hotel took me 15 minutes to check in when there was no one in line at all. I saw hotel staff being leisurely and walking around before coming to check me in at the front desk. Then at check out they tried to charge me $200 of charges from someone that was there for a wedding. It took us another 30 minutes to get it sorted out.”

“There were several conventions going on that weekend and several of their guests were extremely noisy at night; however hotel security addressed the problem quickly.”

“The rooms need maintenance. The Marriott up the road is much nicer. The Hilton Honors breakfast was not even the same as a Hampton's Inn breakfast.”

“Very nice, attractive lobby; helpful staff; food was good but restaurants' decor unexciting. Room was too small and the hotel would not provide a cot because of size of room/ fire code, so one of our sons ended up sleeping on the floor. Age limit of fitness room (21) too high. Indoor pool was pretty but always crowded and occupied by birthday party one day. Easy access to central Long Island, although not in a particularly attractive location. All in all, though, more than adequate.”

“Nice hotel, central location on Nassau Suffolk county border with quick access to lie/i495. Nice indoor pool that was buzzing with families during our visit. Clean and pleasant, no surprises!”

“I was very pleased with this hotel. There was a full work out room, pool, hot tub and sauna. The robe in the closet was a very nice touch. The doors to the rooms closed quietly so you didn't hear people going in and out of the rooms.”

“First time staying at this hotel and overall really enjoyed it. It's tough to get a good combination of quality and price on long island, but this hotel fit the bill on both counts. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.”

“I was awakened at 3:17am to the smell of cigarette smoke. The rooms on our floor were non-smoking rooms. I complained about the smoking tenants to mgmt at approximately 3:30am. Nothing was done. The tenants were still smoking at 5:00am. In addition, the rooms are right over the pool which does not close until 10:00pm. There were a lot of children making a lot of noise (a party was going on I think) until the pool closed. In addition, there were folks who were apparently drunk making lots of noise up a down the hall.”

“The staff was helpful and they had a great restaurant and front lounge. I was visiting family in the area and found ourselves hanging out at the hotel a lot because it was so nice.”

“I loved the location and hotel amenities. But, upon arrival the person was not friendly. The room had a cracked mirror, tub faucet was rusted/needed repair, and discovered a $10 charge each day for a refrigerator for my 1 year olds milk. Most hotels at this level offer them free-first come/first serve.”

“The room met our expectations and we felt at home and slept like babies. The indoor pool was spectacular. The restaurants were overly priced for what they offered, but there were plenty of good restaurants in the surrounding area.”

“We took 2 rooms, one for us and one for our son and grand daughter. We hope to come back next year. The rooms were clean and pleasantly furnished, the hotel lobby attractive, with an indoor pool ( we hadn't planned on that but we will next year) and a friendly staff.”

“I was pleasantly suprised when the Huntington Hilton showed up. It was a quality hotel with very professional staff. The rooms were large, clean and nicely decorated. The hotel resturant was very good. We had a great time”
