• Having a kitchen in my room.
• This hotel was not a safe place to be.

“There was not sense of security here for me. There was no motel staff on duty for me to report the incident. This, I feel it was possibly a life threatening experience.”

• I loved the efficiency suite with fully equipped kitchen.
• It would be great if they provided a complimentary continental breakfast or other snacks. A gym and garden would be great as well.

“This is a very comfortable hotel to stay in. It is truly a home away from home. I loved the fully equipped kitchen and accessible laundry facilities. The furnishings are attractive and the staff is helpful, as well. The towels are the right level of fluffiness. I would definitely recommend and return to this heaven.”

• Very clean, nice rooms.
• Few rooms with twin beds.

“Very clean, very nice, adequate rooms. No frills but a good basic place. Traveling on a fishing trip with multiple guys and the only negative was they had no rooms available with twin beds. The rollaway cots were fine.”

• The hotel was on a bus line. The hotel was close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel was 3 miles from Bethpage State park golf.
• The hotel did not have a pool, a restaurant or exercise facility.

“This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. It is a 50 yard walk to the Route 110 bus line which runs between Huntington and Amityville. If you don't have a car you have access to this major east-west route with every restaurant, 2 major malls, and the Long Island Railroad stations in both towns. My son and I golfed at Bethpage State Park (3 mi. away) one day, and took the train into Manhattan the next, with no problems. The kitchenette in the room cuts down on eating expenses and is great for breakfasts. I fully recommend this hotel.”

• I liked the cleanliness of this hotel.
• When leaving there was no one @ the desk, so I took a risk and left.

“I took a risk and left my key @ the counter when leaving because there was no one at the front counter. The hotel is in a secluded area which is not too close to shopping and dinning.”

• Fridge and sink in room were convenient.
• Got smoking room and couldn't change (we have newborn twins).

“If you are on business, this hotel will work for you. If you are with family, do not stay at this hotel unless you only plan to sleep there and do nothing else. Do not check in late because you will have no ability to make adjustments. make sure you confirm smoking or non smoking room, there is a big difference.”

• Business room was more accommodating than most.
• No washer and dryers for laundry.

“Overall the hotel was great. Only lacks place to eat that are nearby and not 15 - 20 mins away. Also would have liked to been able to do my laundry here at the hotel.”

• The staff was so helpful, I got lost and they stayed on the phone with me directing me turn by turn.
• I've stayed in these before, the one in Virginia was a lot nicer, had a dishwasher.

“I was in town for an overnight stay for a wedding; as a woman alone I felt perfectly safe, and enjoyed my stay. Great lighting in the bathroom (for makeup). Would stay at this chain again.”

• Love having a kitchen.
• It was too far from where I was working and the chair was broken.

“This hotel was fine however traveling around long island is very difficult. It was not easy to find and way too far from my location. I would not want to stay too many days in this hotel as the bed was lumpy, the sheets scratchy. The so called easy chair would have been nice if it worked. The big advantage for me is the kitchen as I have dietary restrictions and this makes it much easier for me. It was also good as there were no restaurants anywhere to be seen. It was in an office park. It would have been nice if the rooms had a list of places to eat.”

“This hotel has everything you need. Attractive rooms, but be sure to ask for extra pillows. I have stayed here many times and check in is always fast and easy. The girl at the front desk Lydia is always friendly and helpful.”

• It was inexpensive.
• The room was smoked in, carpet and chair filthy.

“The hotel was okay for the money, and had a recliner, and a small kitchen, but the carpet was filthy, and so was the chair provided. The room in general was clean, but it smelled of cigarettes everywhere. For under a hundred dollars for the area it is a bargain, and the staff was very friendly. I would not return.”

• It had all of the comforts of home. Fridge, microwave, cooking station.
• I didn't like the cable TV stations. They should have more of a variety.

“This hotel is good for someone who is not looking for all the comforts of home. Beds are horrible and we had to beg for extra pillows.”
