  • The interior was acceptable except for the uncomfortable bed.

“If I could have received your so called no cancellation fee policy, I would have switched. It was not a pleasurable stay. Maybe construction workers types wouldn't have a problem with it.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • The rooms were very clean.
  • Air condition was a window type unit.

“I had a two week stay. The room was very clean, the bathrooms are new. This is a no frills motel, but it meet my needs and I would stay there again.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • The continental breakfast and the pool.
  • Outside my door was a hangout for smokers. The room was tiny.

“I was pleased that the hotel staff accommodated me and my husband by switching our room when we realized that right outside our room was a hangout for smokers but the room was really tiny and the lady at the front desk wasn't very friendly.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[5] • Location:[5]

  • It was cheap.
  • It smelled bad, and the internet never worked.

“This was a business trip and it was crucial that I have internet access. I had to spend $30 with a taxi to drive me. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • Convenient location, very helpful and friendly staff, clean and comfortable room.
  • The neighborhood is something of an industrial area.

“The outside of this motel and its somewhat industrial neighborhood was less than impressive but the room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom in our room was obviously recently remodeled, which was nice. I will definitely stay their again.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Very quiet, safe, and clean.
  • Very limited amount of TV channels, I would've liked to have at least basic cable.

“I my case I just needed a place to stay while my house was being renovated, and I got good comfort at a low price, however if your quite the channel surfer, then this hotel is not for you, being it only has 32 channels. Other then that, its safe; its clean, and inexpensive.”

  • Nothing.
  • NO HEAT and very tiny.

“Not even a one star. They wanted $10 to give us a King or two doubles beds.”

  • Outstanding restaurant/bar.
  • Advertised Wi-Fi was not available, again.

“Hotel is clean but not luxurious. Ok for business but not a vacation spot. Restaurant is outstanding - this is not a diner but a serious treat. I have stayed here three times, and two times out of three the advertised Wi-Fi was not available. Definitely, not a plus for business travelers.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[4] • Location:[7]

  • They had free coffee cereal for breakfast. Room refrigerator.
  • Their carpet stunk.

“The property has beautiful landscaping and trees, and the neighborhood is really good. Don't take Rm. 104. They clean your room, but the carpet stunk. When we spilled a glass of water, brown came up on the towel. The bed is small and when you turn on the air conditioning unit, it stinks, too. We suspect that the refrigerator needs its drain pan washed. There's a pool, but it isn't heated by solar, or anything, so nobody uses it. Come on, this is 2007 and Long Island, New York. Who likes the jolt of a real cold pool? They could get more customers with heating their pool across the summer. Kids said it was too cold, too. The rooms are real small, like Motel 6, or smaller, yet they want three star prices for it.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[5] • Location:[5]

  • Good restaurant and bar.
  • It looks like the parking lot of a factory.

“This was my second visit. The first time, the wifi was not available. This time it was. I have no complaint about the room, which was clean and comfortable, but I can't rave about it either. The restaurant is the best feature, and the main reason I came back.”

  • Location in regards to where my meeting was.
  • Smell, there were homeless people sleeping outside.

“Between the smell of cigarettes and urine. I would never stay here again - not to mention that is has not been updated sine around 1960.”

  • Obviously the place is being renovated and the bathrooms were very nice.
  • There was a couch in the hallway and food boxes were everywhere.

“We got this hotel at the last minute, thinking it would be like a normal Days Inn. It was more like a roadside budget hotel that was recently converted to a Days Inn and currently being renovated. The bathrooms were obviously first on the list and were very nice. The rooms were very clean too, except for outside the rooms were there was a rouge couch in the hallway, and lots of take-out boxes left outside the doors (and on the couch). The bed was very uncomfortable, as the mattress was a very poor quality. I do give the place a lot of credit for the "vision." It is not comparable to any Day's Inn I have ever been.”
