• Good facilitywith kitchenette for a snack.
• Nothing.

“Great place for a family or business stay. Kitchen made it usable. Internet was available and not hard to get onto.”

• I had use of a full sized refrigerator
• No dish soap or sponges were in my room upon arrival.

“A friendly welcome was given and check in was well explained including how to use the complimentary internet. If you like your room cleaned every single day then you can pay to have this service. However, I liked the privacy the staff gave you,in terms of not being hassled to get up early every single morning just for housekeeping! The front of house desk (when open), has friendly staff and allowed you to perform towel exchanges and any other inquiries necessary. The room itself was more then adequate for my needs. I was impressed with the large Refrigerator - but not so impressed with the lack of dish soap and cleaning products, despite it stating it was provided - I went and bought my own. The pillows on the bed are of good quality, and there is plenty of space to set up an office area if required.”

• There was nothing redeeming about this place.
• This place provided the least value imaginable for the money.

“This is probably my worst experience in a hotel in my life. The queen size mattress was sunken and the sheets and covers looked like they were purchased from a 5 and dime. The 17" Magnavox TV had terrible cable reception, and I had to fiddle around with the coaxial cable to clear the reception. There was no shampoo in the showers, and I had to go down the front desk in the morning to get some. The room smelled like an ash-tray, but there were no ash-trays provided.”

• Very friendly and helpful staff, room was spotless.
• Locks were broke on 2 of 3 windows, I was on the 1st floor!

“Nice place to stay for short or long term. Friendly & helpful staff and quiet neighborhood. Convenient access to major highways. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.”

• The room was spacious and very clean.
• There were no amenities. None.

“Perfect for a quick stopover. This hotel was a short drive from the Jones Beach Theater. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly. This hotel has no real amenities. It truly is a business hotel though we used it as a place to spend the night so that we didn't need to make the 2 hour drive home at midnight. It was perfect for our purposes!”

• Slight odor in halls on 2nd floor.

• Clean, with kitchen and cooking wares, cheap.
• Did not clean up.

“This hotel is clean and new. This is good to stay longer and you can definitely save money by cooking your own food because there is a kitchen and the cooking wares, fridge and microwave. The problem is the hotel will not clean up if you stay less than 7 days, but you can still change towels and beddings yourself.”

• Staff was very friendly.
• Mattresses were gross, interior was old.

“Room smelled bad. Mattresses were filthy. Interior was old. Only good thing was friendly service and it was cheap. You get what you pay for.”

• Good location, and overall a nice place to stay overnight.
• Limited TV Channels.

“The room has a working kitchen, a well-maintained restroom, and a comfortable bed. If you need a place to stay without too much of the bells and whistles, this is a very good hotel to book.”

• Quiet area.
• Beds.

“This hotel was exactly as we expected. Nothing fancy but it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Only things I would change would be the beds and adding a larger TV. Other than that we would recommend this hotel.”

• Very clean! Everything worked we'll in room.
• No pool.

“I was really impressed with the staff, the cleanliness; the overall price for the room was cheap compared to the niceness of the total hotel experience. Clean grounds, and general landscaping. Clean laundry room, coffee pot in room, refrigerator, toaster, iron and ironing board. I would easily recommend this hotel to any business traveler or single or couple traveler. I would stay there tomorrow if I were in the neighborhood. I was surprised by the only one star rating. This was a disservice to the hotel.”

• Clean, convenient, courteous staff.
• It was a non-smoking room that smelled of smoke.

“I would recommend it. It was close to JFK, Manhattan and reasonably priced. It might not be very convenient without a car. I'm not sure how close it is to the LIRR.”

• Very quiet, clean and the staff was pleasant.
• Didn't know the rules about house keeping until I stumbled across a placard in the room.

“Room was comfortable, clean, easy to get to from the parking lot. The building was nicely laid out and convenient to get around.”
