• Free computer / internet access.
• Not convenient to downtown Stamford.

“If you are not driving, there is a shuttle van service, otherwise $10 cab ride to the train station and downtown.”

• Bar closed, TV old, furniture old and uncomfortable, not 3.5 stars

“Hotel is changing hands and little work has been done it lately. The Bar is non-existent and the resturant over-priced. But it was quiet.”

• Room was very spacious, clean and quiet, didn't hear anything around us.
• Room was too warm and couldn't be adjusted, bed was extremely soft.

“This hotel was a disappointment. Our room was way to warm and we could not adjust temperature. It seemed like we were stashed in a back forgotten part of the hotel, although the place was practically empty. The lobby and restaurant areas were beautiful, but the floor and section we were put in smelled musty. The ice machines didn't work, hallways were filthy and we must have been somewhere near housekeeping because our entire stay we had to walk by a huge pile of dirty laundry and food that had been left out from room service. The room itself was large and quite comfortable with the exception of being too warm.”

• Location for my needs.
• Hair in the buffet food, poor decor in rooms, had to ask for a bar of soap and toilet paper, outrageously expensive menu.

“The rooms were below average in decor and amenities. The bed was comfortable. TV was ancient. The hotel design requires long walks to the elevator. Lighting in the room and bathroom was dim. Bathroom was tiny and dark. Food was incredibly expensive. Morning breakfast staff was rude and not helpful. The hotel did not provide complimentary coffee or availability of a local newspaper.”

• The location (next to everything in Stamford) and the wide open downstairs lobby (restaurant, work area, bar).

“Great location if you are communiting to New York City. Train station 5 minutes by cab or hotel shuttle (free). Hotel restaurant serves until 10:00 if you get back late from the city still hungry. Starbucks right next door a must for me along with CVS, supermarket. Good restaurants in downtown. Beats driving all the way into the city for me (I don't need to be in early).”

• Location.
• Bathroom was so-so. Housekeeping left last tenant's soap in the shower.

• Comfortable, quiet room with comfortable bed & good quality bathroom.
• Work out facility is not open longer to hotel guests.

“Set back in a quieter part of Stamford and away from I-95, there is still easy access to numerous stores, bistros with in walking distance or short drive.”

• It had a bed and a bathroom.
• The room was facing East and the curtains didn't block the sun very well.

“It is what you would expect of a Sheraton. Very sufficient. However, half of the hotel rooms are very much inconvenient to get to with the layout of the floor plan and the only elevator bank there. The curtains don't do well with blocking sun so light sleepers be sure the ask for a room on the west side.”

• Bed was great! The best thing was the check in kiosk.
• There was one elevator and we had to walk all the way around carrying our luggage. not bad, just inconvenient.

“The hotel was great. We had good room service for breakfast, right on time. My favorite thing was the check in kiosk. We traveled for a while before we arrived and it was so nice to be able to just go, check in at the computer, get out keys. The elevator was in an inconvenient place, but a security man was there, so I knew I was in for a good nights sleep no hotel parties here!”

• Very clean. Very upscale. Friendly, professional staff.
• A bit far from I-95, with traffic congestion getting to the highway.

“Perfect for business travelers, this hotel is clean, spacious, and the staff is friendly and professional. The facility is very modern and upscale. You can recommend this hotel to clients and business associates with confidence. This hotel would be perfect for meetings.”

• Average roadside style room.
• Charge for parking. Smoke smell in 3 rooms I tried. (Changed rooms).

“They charge for parking and the smoke smell was in all three rooms I had. There were a couple old socks under my bed in the final room I got, no tissue in the dispenser and all rooms had a noisy air exchange.”

• Great atrium lobby, enclosed garage.
• The murder in the hotel the week before my trip.

“This hotel is away from downtown Stamford, it has a beautiful atrium lobby, an enclosed parking garage, a pool and the exercise room was very active.”

• The beds are comfortable, neat and clean rooms and premises. Location is nice, you feel comfortable.
• Needed a new coffee maker in room. It took five hours before receiving one. Which took three different calls at different hours?

“Hotel is in a very nice location. Restaurants, shopping centers etc. Hotel is warm and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.”

• The pool was being renovated.

• I liked the open courtyard design.
• The thermostat didn't seem to work, the temperature was off.

“Very nice hotel, nice open courtyard design with rooms outside. Very clean, well kept room, The only issue I have is that the thermostat didn't work right, it said it was 62 degrees and it was more like 72. It was manually controllable so I just kept it cranked down to 55 to keep the air on all the time. This hotel is located farther away from downtown but worked well for me because it was near to the people I was visiting.”

• Comfortable bed, clean room, friendly staff, convenient location.
• Additional charge for parking, certain rooms is a long walk from the elevators.

“Overall, I was very satisfied with hotel service, room, cleanliness, location and amenities. Situated two miles away from Stamford metro rail station and easy to get to nick. Hotel will provide shuttle to train station upon request.”
