• Bed was great! The best thing was the check in kiosk.
• There was one elevator and we had to walk all the way around carrying our luggage. not bad, just inconvenient.

“The hotel was great. We had good room service for breakfast, right on time. My favorite thing was the check in kiosk. We traveled for a while before we arrived and it was so nice to be able to just go, check in at the computer, get out keys. The elevator was in an inconvenient place, but a security man was there, so I knew I was in for a good nights sleep no hotel parties here!”

• Very clean. Very upscale. Friendly, professional staff.
• A bit far from I-95, with traffic congestion getting to the highway.

“Perfect for business travelers, this hotel is clean, spacious, and the staff is friendly and professional. The facility is very modern and upscale. You can recommend this hotel to clients and business associates with confidence. This hotel would be perfect for meetings.”

• Average roadside style room.
• Charge for parking. Smoke smell in 3 rooms I tried. (Changed rooms).

“They charge for parking and the smoke smell was in all three rooms I had. There were a couple old socks under my bed in the final room I got, no tissue in the dispenser and all rooms had a noisy air exchange.”

• Great atrium lobby, enclosed garage.
• The murder in the hotel the week before my trip.

“This hotel is away from downtown Stamford, it has a beautiful atrium lobby, an enclosed parking garage, a pool and the exercise room was very active.”

• The beds are comfortable, neat and clean rooms and premises. Location is nice, you feel comfortable.
• Needed a new coffee maker in room. It took five hours before receiving one. Which took three different calls at different hours?

“Hotel is in a very nice location. Restaurants, shopping centers etc. Hotel is warm and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.”

• Very neat and clean. Staff was very friendly.
• The pool was being renovated.

• I liked the open courtyard design.
• The thermostat didn't seem to work, the temperature was off.

“Very nice hotel, nice open courtyard design with rooms outside. Very clean, well kept room, The only issue I have is that the thermostat didn't work right, it said it was 62 degrees and it was more like 72. It was manually controllable so I just kept it cranked down to 55 to keep the air on all the time. This hotel is located farther away from downtown but worked well for me because it was near to the people I was visiting.”

• Comfortable bed, clean room, friendly staff, convenient location.
• Additional charge for parking, certain rooms is a long walk from the elevators.

“Overall, I was very satisfied with hotel service, room, cleanliness, location and amenities. Situated two miles away from Stamford metro rail station and easy to get to nick. Hotel will provide shuttle to train station upon request.”

• Parking included with room, nice pool and well equipped exercise room.
• Overpriced restaurant, lack of service in restaurant.

“Parking garage steps are rusted to the point they are falling down and have been boarded up. No way to get to the car in event of power outage. Inconvenient location if traveling by anything but car. Carpets are dated, worn and filthy. Service at extremely over-priced restaurant was basically non-existent. Top of the desk in the room separating apart due to water damage. Wires behind the desk show as one big jumbled mess. Has a dated feeling to the whole building, in dire need of an update. Lack of any decent movie channels.”

• The lobby area was very attractive.
• I was treated as a second-class guest.

“The hotel itself was nice, not extremely impressive in the rooms (extremely tiny bathroom) but the lobby was very nice, open and spacious. The service I received was very good.”

• Convenient location, many services.
• Weekend party was very uncomfortable for the quest, music lasted beyond midnight and bass level invaded the room.

“Over all the facility was very nice. The tub in the room was not clean. I was unhappy with the disrespect of the quests due to a private party. It would be better if the level of the bass was regulated or I was placed on a higher floor (so that I would be able to sleep for an early departure). Despite a call downstairs - I was told it would last until midnight; the music ended closer to 1am. I did not feel comfortable having to pay for that night!”

• Nice clean rooms.
• It was difficult to find off the highway 3 miles on a 1-way street going pop direction.

“Large upscale hotel with huge, beautifully decorated lobby (was a bit intimidating for us small town folk). Rooms were large and beds were comfortable. Never had to pay $6 to park at a hotel before.”

• Clean. Accommodating staff. Nice facilities.
• Very obnoxious group of about 100 teens also staying there.

“The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The fitness facilities were excellent. Everything about the hotel was pleasant. The only thing I didn't like was that a large group of teenagers was also staying there and the staff let them play Frisbee in the lobby and fool around in the fitness room. If that group or groups like it frequent the hotel often, I probably wouldn't go back.”

• The lobby and common areas were very nice.
• They did not refill my coffee condiments consistently.

“Overall this is a great hotel. The only issues I had were (1) the internet usage cost is $10 per day which is ridiculous in this day and age. Internet needs to be bundled in to the room cost and (2) local calls charged me even if the other end was busy or did not pick up. That is outrageous! But over all this is a great hotel and I highly recommend it and will go there again in the future.”
