• Very clean and friendly staff.
• Very loud and noisy!

“This is a beautiful hotel located in a sketchy neighborhood. It is isolated enough so it feels safe, though. There is a parking garage for $10/day, the staff/services were excellent, the pool and exercise room were clean and stocked. The room was clean and updated. We were on the 6th floor and it sounded like we were at a rock concert - everything was loud, including the emcee talking on the microphone.”

• Best linens of all hotels in Stamford.
• decor

“A nice hotel but hard to get to off 95 South. Not as nice as Stamford Marriot or Greenwich Hyatt, but the best linens of the three. Desk clerk provided breakfast coupons when upgrade was not available. Breakfast buffet was very good. Overall a very good stay and considering the price, very hard to beat.”

• Lovely decor in the room, very clean, friendly/helpful staff.
• Wish the van that takes you to the train ran later than 10:30 pm.

• The staff was very friendly and the hotel common areas are very nice looking.
• Parking was an issue. Car had Yakima pod on top so could not park in garge, there was no alternate parking lot.

“The location is only about 35-45 minutes drive from Manhattan and is also only a couples minutes away from the Stamford, CT Metro North railroad station that has affordable fares into Manhattan and up to New Haven throughout the day and night. Stamford itself is a trendy city with many restaurants, clubs/bars and cultural attractions that cater to a wide variety of likes and interests. The location of the hotel is within a business center type campus which was quiet, clean and modern looking, but the surrounding area is not quite as nice and would make an evening stroll away from the hotel or a walk to any of the downtown attractions unsafe. The hotel itself was very spacious and both modern and elegant looking. The room was clean and the furnishings were comfortable although the room itself was a bit cramped in size. We were surprised that there was not a mini-fridge in the room as in our travels we have found this amenity available as staple item at much less expensive hotels. The hotel has a very nice gym with extremely nice Cardio equipment and free weights, a heated pool and a hot tub/jacuzzi. The two primary negatives about our experience were,our car would not fit in the parking garage. We were very surprised to find that the hotel did not have any other parking areas for travelers with vehicle height issues. We were also surprised to find out the hotel charges $10 for guests to park during their stay. After some discussion the hotel let us park in the traffic circle in.”

• Clean, attractive contemporary environment. Terrific staff.
• Hotel hallway noise echoed easily into rooms. Too much noise from adjacent rooms.

“Immediate proximity to several corporate headquarters, very close to downtown Stamford and the commuter train line into NYC. Clean, attractive modern building and guest rooms. Could be quieter. Very helpful and friendly staff.”

• The sunny atrium lobby; the elegant, comfortable room.
• Contact with several unfriendly, unhelpful staff; difficulty parking on a busy night.

“This Hilton has a great location very close to the Boston-NYC Amtrak train line. This feature was very convenient for me during a snow storm when I couldn't drive to CT, but wanted to meet my Ohio sister for 2 days. It was a great place for us to stay.”

• All of the staff was friendly and very helpful.
• The pool was very cold (my children only stayed in for about 3 minutes!). We went to the pool at about 8 AM.

“Quality hotel. Excellent location for business travelers. Walking distance to Stamford Transportation Center. Not worthy of it's 3.5 star category! 3 star Stamford Marriott is nicer!”
