• Comfortable room, good amenities like computer desk & extra chairs.

“Very nice hotel, great location for my trip. Good neighborhood. Good restaurants in the area. Room was very comfortable w/computer desk, extra chair, also a sofa chair w/ottoman, and also a luggage bench. About the only thing my room didn't have, was its own sitting area. This really wasnt necessary anyways for my particular trip.”

• Very nice accommodations for business traveling. Sleeping and bath areas were well appointed. Free evening appetizers as well - different.
• Workout room and whirlpool too open (windows) and close to lobby and banquet areas to feel comfortable using.

“Hotel was adequate for short stay with comfortable bed and pillows. Decor was dated. Room was spacious. Continental breakfast was terrible.”

• The friendship and the gym.
• No microwave in m y room but its all good, they made good food.

• The spa and workout rooms are near the elevator. No walking through the lobby in a wet suit.

“Friendly very available staff. Quick, prompt happy service. Excellent continental breakfast. Great beds. Clean. Great location between North and South shores of Long Island. Only 15 minutes east of LaGuardia and JFK airports, which means you can get out of the city for sleeping and eating and relaxing. You only need to go into the city for tourist attractions. You are minutes from the beach too. Just a great location with plenty of shopping: malls, grocery, department, etc., just everything that you could possibly need. Great high speed internet services and a nice business workroom.”

• Friendly service, great amenities and clean.
• No indoor pool.

“Great price for the money, room was clean, bed was comfy, loved the media room and access to the internet, great breakfast. Kids didn't feel overcrowded really great experience.”

• Very nice hotel, new, clean, everything I needed.
• In a room with 2 beds I prefer 2 queen beds instead of 2 double beds

“The hotel was fairly new, the rooms were very nice and so was the bathroom. It had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and ironing board, all things I like in a hotel room. It was reasonably priced and included a nice continental breakfast. If I had more time I would have liked to use the exercise equipment and beautiful hot tub.”

• I liked the location and the cleanliness of the hotel.
• I did not know the amenities of the hotel. Check-in was not very informative about the hotel.

“The WinGate Inn at Garden City is a "cute" weekend hotel. The rooms are small but are clean and functional. In addition, the hotel is located very close to shopping and is comnvenient for a weekend. Also, the area was safe.”

• the exhaust fans in the bathroom was directly connected to light. Could not turn off and was VERY loud

“overall experience was great would recommend or stay at again. Disconnect fan from light in bathroom.”
