• This location was perfect for our visit to our son's college campus.
• Parking lot was uncomfortably dark at night.

“I would recommend this hotel to any family visiting the White Plains area, especially if they have young children as the pool is terrific for kids.”

• Comfortable and well appointed.
• Parking lot a slightly distant walk from hotel.

“Unfortunately, we spent less than ten hours in the hotel. It seemed quite nice and we would have liked to have used its amenities. The staff was helpful upon check-in and by providing information about the area. It was convenient to the friend we were visiting.”

• Convenient location very near food, mall and theater and nice hotel rooms and lobby.
• Some of the cable channels were fuzzy.

“It's a great option for people wanting to be near the city but avoid all the traffic. There is a Panera Bread, Stop n Shop, Loews movie theater and mall nearby. It is a nice and quiet hotel with a warm, cozy but upscale feeling to it. I found the customer service element to be wonderful.”

• Minor quibble: would be nice to have alternate exits because of long corridors and parking lots.

• The indoor pool and grounds are very nice.
• The distance to the room was too great - no short cuts.

“This is a lovely well appointed hotel on impressive wooded grounds. It is not particularly convenient to public transportation, but is easy to get to by car. The indoor pool and hot tub are outstanding. Room service was quite good. Rooms are clean and bathroom semi-deluxe. Only downside, so to speak, is the overstuffed and somewhat hard down pillows. They need some soft and flat cushions for those of us without rubber necks!”

“The hotel was overbooked but they managed to accommodate us. The parking lot is too far from the front door with no good means of ingress/egress. The valets were rude and had no regard for guests other then the function they were working at the hotel that evening.”

• Quiet, wooded setting.
• Didn't eat at the restaurant - too expensive.

“We stayed overnight on a trip to visit colleges for our son. It was an average hotel, clean but not fabulous. The front desk staff was a little snooty, and the food prices (both in the restaurant and for room service) were very high.”

• Rooms were old, the king room only had a queen size bed.

• It has both an indoor and outdoor pool.
• There is not room service after 11:30 PM and there are no vending machines. Can't get a late night snack.

“I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. The outdoor pool was great.”

• I loved the setting, very quiet with a rural feel.
• It was quite a long walk from the elevator to the room.

“Very pleasant hotel, lovely room. The staff was very gracious and welcoming. It felt more like a private resort than a hotel with the tree-filled spacious, well-kept grounds and nicely decorated public areas.”

• Wish we would had a mini fridge.

“Great stay. Room was comfortable, clean, everything worked and the beds were very comfortable. Hotel is in a beautiful wooded area. Very nice pool areas. Small but sufficient gift shop.”

• The guest - rich and uptight.

“The furniture in the room seemed to be half dated and half updated. Room was clean, and big. So big it felt empty. Needs more furniture I suppose. If you like to hang out with rich, uptight folks.”

• The location, we were able to take The Hutch Pkwy right into NYC.
• The location of the room in comparison of where we had to park.

“I felt very safe, the staff was very helpful, and the location of this hotel in great if you need to travel into NYC. It only takes on the weekend 20 minutes to get into NYC.”
