• Exceedingly friendly staff, lovely breakfast bar that was continuously refilled, clean room, internet access.
• Bed could have been more comfortable.

“Very convenient - on east loop of Albany, easy stopping place on thruway between western NY and Boston. Clean, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, generous and fresh breakfast food.”

• The bright colors, a fridge and a microwave as well.

“It was pretty clean, convenient, Wal-Mart and other shops right down the street. It was adequate and clean with microwave and fridge in the room. They have a continental breakfast as well popcorn for all the late comers in the lobby which is nice.”

• The general manager does not now what customer service is, and the staff lacks competence.

“This hotel is a decent hotel. I would not recommend this hotel solely for the poor staffing and leadership form the management.”

“This hotel is a typical Fairfield. However, I have stayed in nicer, better managed Fairfield. Construction was going on and they handled that fairly well. The front desk people were not the usual, friendly and highly trained Marriott people.”

• It was very quiet no plumbing noise even on the first floor.
• There was quite a bit of construction going on even on Saturday.

“The breakfast server was very personable and helpful. The bed was comfortable. When the updating is finished, it will be even nicer. The fact that it was so quiet even on the first floor was wonderful.”

• The home made waffles at breakfast.
• My in-laws down the hall.

“The hotel was nice I would stay there again. The only thing is the cleaning staff needs to move the furniture when vacuuming, and to use the wand to get up close to the walls.”

• Wonderful beds, staff, great included breakfast, better than I expected.
• Another blanket on the bed would have been nice.

“It was extremely handy to the trade show I was doing. I was more than a little pleased with the quality of the staff, lobby, room and beds. 4 pillows per bed! Excellent breakfast with an attentive, energetic little grandmotherly person making the waffles. Excellent coffee-24 hours I think. Only minor thing was that I like to sleep in a cool room with blankets. There was only the coverlet. So I had to have the room warmer than ideal for my comfort. All in all. A great experience.”

• Excellent breakfast, very nice staff, very accommodating people.
• No exercise facility-could take one hotel room and put in a couple of pieces of equipment.

“We use it when visiting our son at college. It's a basic hotel but clean and nicely decorated, good free breakfast with a wonderful lady who makes waffles at it (!) and nice people. Our biggest complaint is that we wish they had some sort of exercise facility, even a few basic pieces of equipment. Fine for a couple of days stay but no fancy amenities.”
