• Cleanliness, unprofessional staff.

“The rooms were dimly lit and unsavory people were on the premise. Extend Stay did not have the room available when we arrived, only smoking rooms.”

• Beds and linen were great. located in a quiet, attractive woodsy setting.
• It can take more than 5 minutes to get hot water late at night if you are staying in one of the rooms at the end of the hall.

“Set up of mirror in bathroom is awkward, you can't look at it straight on while standing at the end - you have to look sideways.”

“Not a bad place. Elevators must be upgraded as they are too slow. Rooms have been refreshed but the bathrooms are a little behind the times. Desks could use a more economic chair.”

• Very friendly staff.
• No air conditioning!

“The hotel was very nice and the staff friendly--however, there was no air conditioning and the room was hot and stuffy. When we requested, a fan, we were told that one would be delivered to our room and it never came. It was a miserable night because if the heat in the room--however, Marriot made it right by us.”

• The bedding was luxurious. There were actual glasses in bathroom, not plastic.
• The room was a long walk from the entrance. Carpeting needs replacing.

“The hotel is a big off the beaten path, there's nothing nearby in terms of Starbuck's, gas stations, shopping, etc. The grounds are very pretty and the lobby is nice. There are very few entry doors and we had to walk a long way from the entry to our room each time we came and went. There seems to be some construction going on (we saw earth moving equipment, etc.) But it did not bother us. The bed's furnishing was nice, but the carpet seriously needs to be replaced. The bathroom was ok, despite a large chip in the marble vanity that they did a pretty good job disguising. I enjoy glass glasses as opposed to plastic. I wish there had been coffee mugs instead of Styrofoam. The toilet paper and facial tissue were of good quality, as was the toiletries.”

“We got there late and the AC did not work on a warm night. It was our anniversary and what a nightmare. The AC did not work and with my wife having asthma she was having breathing trouble. They tried to open a window in another room but this did not help. We had to go home at 2 AM.”

• The staff were incredibly respectful and helpful.
• The location is not close to restaurants, stores, gas stations, etc.

“One of the biggest rooms I have had with an incredibly comfortable bed and quality linens, and a flat screen TV. Very respectful staff, and beautifully decorated. Extremely comfortable and delightful.”

• Good value, good location and a very comfortable room.
• The only inconvenience is the distance between the front desk and the rooms. Also, the elevators are very slow.

“The property is well maintained. The interior immediately off the lobby is under renovation, however, it is not disruptive to the lobby / restaurant area. The rooms are quite comfortable and well maintained. The elevators are slow.”

• Jukebox in bar was much too loud!

“The hotel's renovations have made this a very pleasant and upscale place to stay. The staff were friendly, the person at the desk, was very helpful. One bad point: we asked the staff to turn down the volume of the jukebox in the bar. They did not honor our request.”

• Park-like grounds.
• Charged for internet access.

“Have stayed here several times. Each time the rooms have been nicer and more comfortable. The covered walkway from rooms to restaurant office offers a pleasant view and comfort, but may be a little long for people with disabilities.”

• I felt very safe in this hotel. There was plenty of security personnel around.
• I did not like the scrambled eggs.

“This was a great hotel with wonderful amenities. I parked in a lower lot and came up with my luggage. Security saw that I was not able to find my way to the lobby and came to assist me. This was a great place. There was an excellent fitness center and I loved the indoor pool.”

• I thought the hotel was a comfortable stay and I enjoyed the complimentary champagne.
• I had to walk down a long hallway just to get to the elevator and the elevators were old.

“Good Staff Comfortable stay Good for a business stay location is a bit too far out of the actually city of White plains overall the Hotel accommodation were good.”

• The breakfast buffet was great. Fresh berries and salmon - yum!
• Nothing - a great place.

“The place is great. The staff is friendly, the hotel is nice and the breakfast buffet is super. It is convenient to Westchester Airport, and a very nice experience.”

“This hotel is aesthetically very appealing but the car navigational system couldn't even find it! Called the hotel and you have to look it up under a different city name. Even that didn't help much (and I have a great sense of direction). More directional signage would be helpful.”

• Great exercise facility and lounge.
• Rooms to far from center of facility.

“It was an excellent visit with a clean and large exercise facility and pool. The lounge has great televisions, though is noisy. Room access is far from the main areas, though I did enjoy it overall and will go back.”
