• The desk clerk was very friendly and the lobby was clean. The outside of the motel was very neat, pool clean.
• The wood work, rug and bathroom floor was very dirty. The door and wood work and hair dryer in bathroom was filthy.

“The appearance of the hotel was pleasant and the pool area was clean and neat. The desk clerk was exceptionally friendly. The lobby was clean. The room was awful. The room was tiny and dirty. We didn't even shower because the bathroom was so dirty. The only reason we stayed was we were short on money and it was an emergency trip to Albany for family death.”

• Convenient.

“We were pleased with the accommodations. The location was good; there were plenty of reasonable places to eat. Close to troy. There was a lingering effect of the fact that the room must have been used by smokers in times past.

“The room we had asked was not given to us. It was very dingy, reeked with cigarette smoke and seemed unclean, small bed, a small bathroom with only a shower. We returned to the office to explain the room they gave us was not the one we asked. They did change it, but not very willingly.”

• Hotel allowed room next door to be a crack dealers residence.

“I got what I paid for; to expect more would probably have been unrealistic; rooms needed to be updated and thoroughly cleaned; price was right but I needed to clean everything I had when I got home to get rid of the stench in my clothes inherent in the room.”
