“Over exceeded my expectations. I was not expecting the hotel or room to be as nice as they were. My wife and I were very pleased with the accommodations. The staff was very helpful in giving directions to get to the hotel and just nice in general.”

“My complaints are pretty much what I said in #14i paid for a smoking room and was told they could not find an ashtray. The ice bucket had dirty tissues and a sanitary Napkin wrapper in it. The bathtub had someones pubic hair in it. I will never stay in a super 8 motel again. It was the worst stay I ever had in a motel and I have stayed in many over the years. I would discourage anyone I know from staying there.”

“Took my daughter to visit Skidmore College. Couldn't decide whether the smell of reefer smoke or Axe body spray was stronger from the room across the hall. The bathroom offered up supplies for someone like my husband: Enough shampoo to give his bald head a once-over and a set of towels which were inadequate to dry off after a shower -- you had to pick whether you wanted a dry body or dry hair. Breakfast was beneath ordinary -- pale gummy bagels out of a freezer bag and coffee with cremora. Staff was very pleasant and helpful though. Internet didn't work worth a crap. The night manager said we should try coming to the lobby to see if it would work there. It worked only if you positioned yourself within two feet of the counter. We were told to come in through the side door as it was closer to our room. It wasn't. The card key didn't work (though fortunately or not the door was left open to the parking lot so that guests and other people could move freely in and out of the building). The fire door on the second floor was propped open -- not sure why -- though maybe the guys across the hall were afraid that the alarm would go off if the smoke was inadequately vented.”
