• Fancy decor.
• The parking charge, no fridge, microwave, or instructions to operate radio, dark bathroom.

“The lighting in the bathroom was dark, but the soaps and shampoos were high quality. Construction generators outside ran sporadically the whole night, so the guests should have been put in high floors so they could sleep. The vending areas had only sodas, but no snacks. The ice machine was broken. Desk clerks were somber, not cordial or cheerful.”

• $10 a night parking, no fridge, microwave, or instructions to operate radio, dark bathroom.

“The radio/dream machine/CD player, alarm was too complex to use, and no instructions were available. It was a classy property, but with the dark lighting in the bathroom and routine furnishings and somber front desk, not a comfortable or upbeat hotel. The vending area had only soda but no snacks, the ice machine was broken and the construction generators ran sporadically all night. They should have automatically put guests on the quiet high floors.”

• Large, newly renovated bathrooms.
• Main lobby was stark and lifeless.

“This hotel seems to be working to improve it's overall image. Getting better, but still some issues: main lobby is tired and stark, piano needs to be unlocked and available for guest use and placed in a location, piped-in music in lobby is way too loud, valet-only parking option is a pain in the neck - why no self-parking option, I was not allowed to borrow a luggage cart - only accompanied by a valet -ended up carrying my own bags, business center charges exorbitant rates to use their equipment. Rooms are nice, location is good, but friendliness needs work.”

“Loved the experience and staff at the Crowne. The only drawback is the lack of a hot tub. Minor problem considering everything else, but nevertheless, something that needs to be addressed.”

• Next door to an excellent mall; convenient shuttle; easy access to major freeway/public transportation; comfortable beds; clean bathroom.
• Breakfast buffet was not worth the price charged; Can't speak for other meals as we didn't want to try.

“Would definitely stay there again if it remains affordable. Actually, the price was an excellent for the quality of the hotel.”

• Linens were beautiful.
• You had to pay for wireless internet service.

“My only complaint was the parking lot. Last time I stayed here it was free. It was under construction which did not allow for many open spaces. Security from parking lot to main lobby could be upgraded.”

• Great rooms, big and a little unique shape not a box.
• $18.00 charge for a fair fitness center.

“Great location, very friendly hotel staff especially the valets and bellman. Nice lobby with large comfortable seating area. Nice looking restaurant area. Very small and slow elevators only weakness. Gym cardio stuff is junk. I like good precor equipment. Nice weights otherwise.”

• Convenient, clean, courteous staff.
• A/C didn't work, pool very small, breakfast too expensive.

“If my AC had been working I would have given this place an excellent. Because of that though, I began to find fault with lots of little things. Call me a crank, but I find the ultra-thick pillows at this hotel chain hurt my neck and are impossible to sleep on. (My chiropractor would agree!) My companions, in a separate room, found the hotel to be quite comfortable so we're of two minds here.”

• The hotel is located in a great location and it's public spaces are well decorated.
• We had to pay $10 for parking every time you enter and exit thought the day.

“Hotel is in the perfect location where safety is not an issue. The surroundings are impeccable. If you plan to make daily trips, it's cheaper to get the valet parking. The washroom and rooms could have been more clean. I've stayed at Crowne Plaza in the past, and this location is one of the best.”
