• Great location - walking distance to downtown Saratoga Springs.
• Small rooms with very small bathrooms; parking can be tough.

• Location was good.
• Parking was terrible,room service did not restock supplies for second night, pool was very uninviting.

“The hotel was OK. Parking lot was full every time we tried to park even though the hotel was not busy which lead me to believe the lot was used for downtown goers.”

• Great location. You can walk to everything.
• They didn't vacuum the room/bathroom.

“This is a great hotel for the money, very convenient to the main street and the race track and next to a great park for taking walks. There was ample parking, a nice little pool/patio area, and a restaurant on site. What more do you need?”

• Housekeeping was especially helpful with re to sick child.
• There were no parking spaces at night after getting back late. One night we had to park on the street outside of the hotel.

“Check in and check out was a breeze. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. Room was clean; didn't smell like smoke or food. Plenty of towels at the pool. Everything was great.”

• The friendliness of staff and how helpful they were.
• Hotel walls were thin so it was very noisy at times.

“I would definitly reccomend this hotel. Even though it is a basic Holiday Inn, the staff made it feel very luxury. They were extremely helpful and they even had a complimentary shuttle that would take you around the town. That proved very helpful as the weather was wet at times. The Location of the hotel was perfect and the staff had plenty of insight into the 'Must See' places in saratoga. This was a real 10 out of 10 birthday trip.”

• I like nothing about this hotel except it's location!
• I didn't the hotel's restaurant's or pool area it was horrible and the water was cold. The place smells bad as well.

“I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I asked if we could switch between Hotels because it so awful. The Holiday Inn in Lake George was heaven compared to this one.”

• The hotel had just replaced the carpets and because of this the room smelled terrible.

“We enjoyed our stay except for the new carpet smell. Had I known that carpets had recently been installed, I would not have stayed here. We had to keep the window open in order to tolerate the smell.”

• Poor customer service; rude; lack of parking space;

“Rude front desk; very noisy hotel - we were put on a very noisy floor. I think there was a hockey tournamet going on. Kids were running, screaming and playing hockey in the halls until almost midnight every night we were there. Front desk was advised but did nothing. Poor service!!”

• Conveniently located, great price.
• Fire alarm went off at 2 am.

“This hotel was great, and very conveniently located in Saratoga. The restaurant, Bookmakers, is excellent, we didn't need to leave the hotel for fine dining. The only issue we had was that at 2 AM, a fire alarm went off, and we had to walk in the cold over to Dunkin' Donuts when we wanted to be asleep. The person who worked at Dunkin' said it happens once a week.”

• The area is beautiful-the hotel staff was
  friendly.
• Smelled like smoke.

“The hotel was well kept but the permeating smell of smoke ruin our stay-I mentioned it to the desk - they said sorry- it was odd because the rooms had smoking/non-smoking signs on them-I would not stay there again.”
