• I liked the comfort and ambiance of the room I stayed in.
• I ordered from the restaurant located inside the lobby of the hotel and I was greatly disappointed with the quality of food for the price.

“In general the hotel is great for short stays. They did have a restaurant, a bar, and a pool, great for family or couples on vacation. I really was not at the hotel long enough to fully indulge in its amenities but I would recommend it to others.”

“Can't beat the location for business, shopping and dining while in and around Albany, NY. It's all happening on Wolf Rd and the Turf Holiday Inn has been there for us for many years and never looks old.”

• Room was nicer than what I had expected. Room service was quick, and food was hot.
• Clerk at gift shop was flat-out nasty and rude.

“Location is terrific, near many, many restaurants and bars. Near a major mall, and just off the Northway, too. Sprawling property, room was clean and comfortable. Internet access was great, and TV has probably 75+ channels.”

“Checking in late, they rewarded us with an executive suite, which was a large conference room with a bed. This had its pluses and minuses.”

• Filthy, indifferent service, unclean room.

“This is an older style Holiday Inn with a service team that is indifferent. The room was filthy everywhere you looked, the ceiling tiles in our bathrooms were falling down, and you could see several floors up. Trash was in various places outside, complete w/a dead bird that stayed there for a day.”

• Outdoor pool.
• No free breakfast. Rooms was a little outdated.

“For a 3 star Holiday Inn I expected a little more. All other hotels in the area have free breakfast. Room was just standard.”

• Double beds were too small, room needed some maintenance.

• Smokers in groups as you enter.

“Smoking should not be allowed where you enter the hotel. There were at least 15 people gathered in front smoking.”

• Beds were extremely comfortable and they offered a pillow menu.
• I think that their toiletries could use a bit of an upgrade.

“This is a very nice hotel near to Albany airport. It is on a main street and accessible to a lot of shopping and restaurants. Rooms are nicely decorated. Was not feeling well and staff was very nice in helping me to get drinks and crackers. When we checked in and when we showed them our Priority Club card they gave us some perks with that!”

• It was pretty, comfortable, the pool area was very nice.
• Would like to see later hours for pool and restriction of children at that time.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would go there again. Hopefully next summer. The indoor pool was very nice with the area around it made pretty with plants and comfortable chairs. Later hours for adult swim would have been nice.”

• Clean rooms and VERY impressive lobby. Location!
• The bed was a little stiff, but not bad.

“Only stayed one night before flying out the next morning. Staff was nice and extremely helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. The best thing, for us anyway, was the proximity to the airport. It was only about a 5 minute drive away, roughly 1.5 miles. Jet noise was minimal, considering how close the airport is.”

• It was conveniently located next to many restaurants in a safe shopping district.
• I firmly believe they did not clean the bathroom, there was someone else's hair in the shower and on the sink, mold in the shower.

“A hotel can have many flaws, but when the bathroom is dirty and there is mold in the shower, (granted a small amount) one then questions many other things; Were the sheets and towels really clean? I think the towels were, but I highly suspect the sheets. The beds were not a true full size (I've heard this is a new trend) and although my husband and I are average size, it was a tight and uncomfortable fit.”

• Courteous staff, big room, two pools, close to restaurants.
• Ethernet cord was broken.

“This is a great 3-star hotel. Staff were all kin, accommodating and courteous. Room was big, clean, with a nice view. Wonderful heated pool, good laundry facilities. Hotel was close to restaurants and right next to a great java cafe. We loved it.”

“I was greeted warmly when checking in. The housekeeper was flexible and accommodated my request to clean my room at a later time. The room was clean and comfortable, and the outside grounds were well maintained.”

• Room was small, yet attractive.
• Front desk person was bad.

“Location was perfect, outside of hotel was attractive and lobby area was small yet clean. My check-in experience was not pleasant. A young female person checked me in and her attitude was not on a par with what I would have expected from a hotel like this. Room was decent; service and management response was poor, at best. I will not stay here again because of the poor service.”

• I preferred the rooms in the Tower where my brothers were staying.
• The hotel room smells of stale cigarettes, I had to by spray to kill the order.

“The hotel was very clean, and the staff highly professional and polite. I will stay there again but this time in the tower bldg, the rooms more comfortable and came with better amenities.”
