• Friendly staff.
• Under construction, could not rest well.

“1) 4th floor was under construction, I could barely rest 9 am - 6 pm sounded like they were ripping my ceiling off. 2) Box TV, cheap box spring bed, sheets, etc. 3) No late check out, at nicer hotels is available. 4) Bathroom had hair in it. I wore flip flops in room, didn’t feel clean. 5) No bellman had to lug bags up the stairs to get into hotel and up to my room. 6) The staff is friendly and the free bagel in the morning is a plus but this place needs a makeover.”

• Terrible room- smallest bed I've ever seen.

“I've had a bad back since the stay. The bed was literally 3 feet across for two people, the room had someone else's half drunk glass of, on the desk, the TV was not plugged in. It was a handicapped accessible room with a wheelchair shower and a shower curtain that was at least 6" off the floor and created a lake in the bathroom when used. The room looked like it was never usually occupied by guests.”

• Had a good breakfast.
• Dirty in places, little hot water, staff did not know what they were doing, confused.

“The location was up a steep hill. They gave me one room, and after I had gone up, told my husband I was in another room, and then couldn't remember where they had sent me. Had to change rooms after hauling very heavy luggage. Didn't seem to care. Elevators were dirty. Hot water took5-7 min. to come on, and then not very hot.”

• Everyone is so nice & friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are wonderful.
• Got smoking instead of non-smoking. Elevator floor very dirty. Annoying traffic sounds in rooms in the front by the road.

“I think for a 2 1/2 star rating, it is a nice place to stay. The location is great, everyone is so nice and accommodating. The breakfast is excellent. I happened to get smoking which I'm sensitive to but the room was cleaned of it as much as could be expected. I prefer the rooms in the back of the hotel so you avoid traffic sounds. Overall, I've stayed there many times and its satisfactory for the rating.”

• The location was convenient to the highway we needed to access family and services that we used during our visit. The parking lot was also close by.
• The bathroom did not have a vent fan. We preferred a non-smoking room, however it was not available with the space we needed.

“Rated as a three diamond hotel by AAA and conveniently located on a main thoroughfare in Westchester County, NY. The room was quiet and comfortable with a great view facing out the back at a wooded area. This suited us well during the visit with relatives. We slept well which is the essential test of comfort while traveling and this can be attributed to the great mattress and pillow as well as the overall freshness of the room and welcoming entrance of the hotel lobby and friendly staff. The continental breakfast was average.”

• Tough access to parking lot - steep, icy walk.

“Hampton Inns have always been a reliable business stop for me. Mostly clean (as clean as the other chains), plus free Wi-Fi make it my preferred choice.”

• The position of entrance is bad.

“Staff was very friendly. And the room was nice and large enough to accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. I also liked a complimentary service of hot water and coffee. But the entrance was placed on the slope and it was far from parking. This needed to be renovated.”

• The continental breakfast was better than most and more flexible to diets.
• No indoor pool.

“The facilities were definitely nicer than some but it was located right on the highway and had no indoor pool. It did however have a small health club which we didn't try. The continental breakfast was very good and had some options for my low carb diet.”

• Everything is very clean and well maintained. I especially enjoy the breakfasts. Its in a great location and has a nice homey touch.
• My room was in the front and you could hear the traffic sounds. It was just a bit distracting. Also, there should be an upgrade on the TV. Channels.

“The Hampton Inn is a great place to stay for the business or leisure traveler. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. They have a great breakfast room and adequate parking facilities. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn.”
