• The room was comfortable and the hotel is set back from the road, so it's quiet.
• I rated this low for business travelers, because the Internet access in the rooms is not wireless which newer laptops are equipped with.

“I was in a handicap accessible room not optimal for the non-handicapped as the shower is odd and little counter space to make room for other accessibility concerns. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and quiet. No complaints. My card key didn't work the second night, but the person at the desk that evening was accommodating.”

• The staff was friendly and accommodating.

“The staff was AMAZING! I stayed at the Hotel for my wedding preparations, as I live in Massachusetts and I was getting married in New York. They helped us with pressing my maid of honor's dress, helping me store the flowers for the wedding, and storing my maid of honor's luggage for her return after the day of the wedding. The cleaning staff was thorough and friendly. We requested a microwave in the room, a cot for my mom the night before the wedding and an extra blanket. All of these services were performed quickly and friendly. I work in a Hotel in Boston and I would like to say that your Hotel's service far exceeds the Hotel where I work!”

• The Mattress was very uncomfortable, and the staff didn't try to solve the problem!

“The bed was terrible. The bed gave me a sore back. When I told the front desk, the lady said that all the beds were the same. I would prefer sleeping on the floor than that bed. The bed is the most important item in the hotel. This hotel is a failure.”

• The friendly staff.
• The cold heated swimming pool.

“Friendly/accommodating staff however the heated pool is very cold. Complained about that and still no heat. Good location, quiet hotel. However, more like a 2 star hotel. Breakfast is expensive and not that great.”

• The cleaning lady was polite and helpful. You needed your room key to get into the pool area.
• I didn't like that the front lady screwed up my receipt & did tell us how to find the room.

“Overall it was a great place to stay. When we go back we plan to stay there again. It was very clean and the people over all were polite and courtesy. I have already recommended it to a friend who plans on going to Tarrytown.”

• Friendly staff and safe environment.
• Needs some updating.

“As always, staff was friendly and attentive. Pool area was well kept. Needs some updates by still comfortable. Only issue is U turn outside of hotel driveway - need to go down the block and turnaround when town was the other direction. Restaurants available less than a mile drive from hotel.”

• Clean.
• Loud, cool shower.

“This was a last-minute stay on the way home from a week long trip. The people were nice and the hotel looked really nice, but the actual amenities left something to be desired. My biggest complaint is the bathroom, it was very cold, and the water never heated up past tepid. Also, the beds are hard (which is not my preference) and the heating system was ineffective.”

“Great hotel, rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. There is a pool and Jacuzzi tub for relaxation and a gym for working out. For a business trip, it was quite enjoyable.”
