• Room was extremely clean, very nice trip overall.
• Room was not as big as the last time, parking can be crowded, no house cleaning unless requested.

“Very Clean rooms. We would definitely stay there again however, house cleaning does not come unless specifically requested, the front-desk also did not supply us with our free food tickets for our complimentary breakfast. However, the hotel is beautiful and the grounds were lovely.”

• Beds were great.
• Confusing layout of space.

“Great price considering what the standard room rate was. Confusing lay out of the space. Rooms and beds/bedding were great. There was no one there at all. Very quiet. The main building was under going renovation, so front desk really pushed take out food and even gave us menus.”

• The grounds and views were beautiful. Staff was great.
• Parking was a bit of a problem.

“This hotel was great for a weekend getaway for my wife and me. It was quiet and very relaxing even though there were two wedding going on. Plenty of this to do close by and many great places to eat.”

• Site is good.
• Service is poor.

“The site and the facilities are fine, but service is more like of a hostel - no food after 9PM in the restaurant, no room service after 10PM. Had to order pizza to deliver. No drinks or anything in mini bar. It too hard to locate. No cab driver from out of Tarrytown knows it, and the directions given by the hotel are not enough.”

• Great property and view, very impressive.
• Online directions awful and rooms needed updating

“Convenient location, mapquest directions linked completely wrong; hotel aware but took 3 people to get us there. Gorgeous location, property is a bit of a maze, easy to get lost. Rooms average, bathrooms need refurbishing ( at least in our wing). Breakfast lovely. Didn't get to see much else. ”

• initial room lost power - had to move !!

• The facility is beautiful, the room well appointed and comfortable.
• It is a little too spread out making it difficult to get from room to car.

• It was in a good location.
• They did not have my reservation when I arrived.

“Although in very scenic Westchester County, the hotel was very limiting for the business style traveler. There appeared to be almost no handicap accessibility and the rooms were somewhat dated. Important fact however is that the commute to the city is very good from this location.”

• The grounds, the pool , hot tub and exercise room were all top quality
• There was nothing I didn't like

“My wife and I been working a lot of overtime lately so we tried and ended up at the Dolce House in Tarrytown. We feel rejuvinated and would, without a doubt, go there again.”

“I arrived after dark so there was not much of the grounds that could be seen. The stone and iron entrance was very impressive and quite fitting with the Tarrytown setting. I was given the option of a king size bed or two doubles and the staff was very helpful with questions that I had. The room was pleasant, not grand, but not lacking either.”

“There was a problem that was very inconvenient. When I clicked on the get map (linked to MapQuest) and printed directions, it gave directions to the wrong end of town. The hotel was aware of this and they claim that they have tried to get it fixed by contacting Mapquest to no avail (I was not the only person who had this problem). The problem is that there are two streets w/ the same name but the town is different and that is what is screwing the map program up. Besides that inconvenience I was satisfied w/ the service and hotel.”

“I find no fault with the hotel. But the information provided indicated it was located in Tarrytown. But, in fact, the address is located in Irvington. That caused a minor problem. Since my daughter had stayed there prior to my reservation, I was assured of it's location. Very happy with the reservation.”
