• The view if you can get it.
• All the rest.

“Stayed there on sept 4th, booked room with view, not available on arrival date, given to us the day after without compensation, one luggage piece left with bell man on arrival, restored to us broken, hotel refused to acknowledge its responsibility, all that this hotel can offer is a room with spectacular view if you are accommodated in upper floors (20th to 45th) - trees cover all view up to 10th floor - and as long as you may be given the booked room on arrival, see if valuables hotel policy suites you, there are 2 other hotels on the same avenue Carlton Ritz and Jumeira Essex house, see if they are an option for you before staying at the Helmsley which I do not recommend at all poor breakfast, staff friendly at the restaurant only in 3 words to be avoided.”

“The hotel has the most fantastic location, over looking central park, some rooms were a bit tired and needed redecorating. The food was good and the staff was helpful.”

• Safe & hair dryer in room didn't work.

“I found the room itself to be average, not great. When exiting the building on the park side it smell like urine from all of the horses. Thought I was going to be sick. Next time I'll look for somewhere else to stay. Would not recommend it.”

• For comfort and richness and park view a must not city view!
• Rich people stay here and love attention if not for you do not come here!

“First class hotel, great experience sharing with the rich people of the world, took this hotel as a special deal with expedia but alas could not afford their room service and meal menu! So eat out and get drinks in! fridge in bathroom. Great Internet and safe all included! And chocolates on pillow at night!! very clean and had park view which was fantastic on 23rd floor!! well worth the extra pounds! To see view every morning! Room massive with extra size king bed! Bathroom towels lovely and fluffy! Great location and recommend hopping on sightseeing bus for 3 days to see so many attractions! Bus stop right opp hotel next to central park which is also a delight! A haven to escape from noise of traffic! Helicopter ride a must! Never forget it! Marriott hotel for last night meal and see view of New York in lights with buffet meal the chock foundation a delight! I loved New York and this hotel made the trip so special forget the back street hotels which are small and noisy if you can get this hotel at a special price go for it but be aware the rich people do not like you wearing I love New York t -shirts as I found out but who cares!”

• Location and courtyard for light eating.
• New York pricing ... bathrooms less appointed than rooms.

“Great location for NYC visitors of any type ... close to Central Park, shopping, and not a bad cab ride from just about anywhere you might want to go in NYC ...”

• Convenience location, good for shopping, luxury, fantastic stay.
• No hot water in the room, and the gift shop close too early.

“This is the second time for me to stay Park Lane hotel, I feel better than last time, but only no water in the room is a little bit pity.”
