  • Location and the staff bent over backwards to please.
  • I know it's New York, but the rooms are tiny!

“Overall, it was a good experience. The staff was extremely helpful and took the extra time to make sure you were happy. My only complaint is the size of the room. I know it's New York and space is at a premium, but my bathroom at home is bigger than the entire room/bathroom at the hotel.”

  • Location.
  • Looks like a former retirement home converted into a boutique hotel.

“Was booked 100%, couldn't check me in before 3 pm. Doesn't qualify as a 4 star hotel, very run-down and old, too small and doesn't have the amenities of a typical 4 star hotel.”

  • The location of the hotel was great. There was no large lobby which made it feel more like coming home at the end of the day.
  • The restaurant food and drink prices were very high.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a 1 bedroom suite which was very large. The only downside was the small and non functional bathroom.”

  • Close proximity to NYU Medical Center. I was in NYC with my 81 year old mother to visit the newest member to our family! My third grandson!

  • The staff was incredible and over accommodating. They let us check in at 9:00 am instead of 3:00 pm!
  • Slow elevators.

“This boutique hotel exceeded my expectations with the very friendly and accommodating staff. I recommend it to all. The room is quaint and the bed is super comfortable.”

  • How dark it was in the hallways and elevator.

  • Rainfall shower.
  • Hair in tub from previous next.

“Loved it. Gorgeous. The staff was amazing. While checking in we had mentioned briefly during check-in that it was my boyfriend's birthday. Not sure how they did it, but by the time it got to dessert, there were candles and a big happy birthday written across the whole thing. My boyfriend loved it! They're the best!”

  • Best doorman in the city. Treated us as if he was genuinely happy to be serving us.
  • It was perfect - no negatives.

“Classy, unique, sophisticated, friendly, the entire staff smiled and acknowledged us each time we passed by. You have no idea how far that goes in making it a great place to stay. We'd definitely come back.”

  • The location was great and room attractive.
  • Costs to access internet on cell phone in hotel; had to go outside.

“The rooms are small but attractive. The staff is overly friendly and helpful. Best of all the rooms are clean and the hotel is located within walking distance to everything. Breakfast is included every morning and it is a great set up with fresh fruit, pastries, bagels, cereal etc. What I did not like about the hotel is that it charges for wireless internet access so even to access it on your phone charges will be applied to your room.”

  • Friendly bellman, modern decor, upscale restaurant, comfortable room, good location.
  • Tiny
    bathroom, no swimming pool or jacuzzi.

“Modern, young, clean, freindly, with hip night club attached. Good for young single. Missing pool, work-out room, jacuzzi. Bathroom too small - door should have been a pocket door.”

  • Staff was very helpful.
  • Very small room and bath. Didn't know our stay was the last night before closing to renovate.

“Decent location, great staff, closed this summer for renovation. Will look forward to it reopening. As is it's nice but not worthy of 4 star, more like a 3 star. When the renovation is over maybe it will earn it's stars.”
